The Old Barn Reviews

Nicola
Great stay at the Old Barn. Stunning views, perfect spot if you want a quiet break, in a beautiful area, with lots of walks. There are a fair few places to go for a coffee, meal, a beer, all within a few minutes drive. Just a 30 minute drive and there are lots of villagetowns to visit, our favourite was Llangollan. The house was lovely, comfortable beds, spacious, plenty of space for all us 8 and a dog. Great to have the hot tub and the sauna, they were both used. Thank you for letting us rent The Old Barn.
Large versatile property spread out over three floors. Sat on a slight hill, there are lovely farreaching views from the eating area and conservatory. The kitchen Rayburn plus modern cooking facilities made this a warm property in the living areas, especially with the woodburner, which made our Winter booking more pleasurable. The main bathroom and downstairs appear new and super clean, thank you. Beds and sheets are top quality. Clean, maintained hot tub a fave. A few of us tried the new sauna. We had previous arrival concern over wifi from previous comments, but between six adult scrollers & the telly managed fine. Excellent communication from owners. Thank for extended Family memories.

Fabulous hone away from home for Christmas! Lots of room for both adults and children to play, gather and eat. Beautifully decorated, lovely bedrooms and extremely wellstocked kitchen! The hot tub and sauna are a bonus after long country walks and the views to die for! Excellent communication from Leanne and Claire would definitely book again!
Ashleigh
An absolutely beautiful property, a few niggles r. E facilities that I've already relayed to the owners but nothing major. Would definitely stay again!
Christopher
Amazing house in a beautiful location. Our only slight niggle was the poor Internet connection but theres probably not much to be done about that really!
Absolutley beautiful bungalow, spotlessly clean with everything well thought out, fresh clean bedding and towels, the beds were so very comfortable sublime breathtaking views all around, a magnificant gem for relaxation, fantastic Sauna and Hot Tub again spotlessly clean. The owners Leanne and Claire are wonderful so very helpful and thoughtful, you can tell they have put alot of love and care into their holiday home. This is one not to be missed and you will not be disapointed... we will be going back for sure. Thank you to Sykes and Thank you to the Girls. Nina Smith 5
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house with our family of 12. The stunning scenery took our breath away, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The beds were incredibly comfy, ensuring everyone had a restful nights sleep. I would definitely recommend the Old Barn for a family getaway theres ample space for everyone to relax. The house had delightful amenities like a sauna and hot tub, and we appreciated the thoughtful gesture of Welsh bread and cakes left for us as a welcome treat. The only minor downsides were the dishwasher, which was a bit finicky, and the oven, which was on the smaller side. Nonetheless, we successfully prepared a roast dinner for all 12 of us and enjoyed it together around the large dining table, thanks to the wellequipped kitchen. While the WiFi signal was weak, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the kids actually engaged in play instead of being glued to their phones. Overall, a memorable experience!
Amazing place with great views around. Cannot fault anything and having a hot tub and Sauna made our stay more enjoyable and an extra advantage. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a top notch accommodation in Ruthin area. Would visit again in future.
