Usherwoods Dairy Reviews

Fantastic cottage with so much space. Lovely setting overlooking fields and just short drives to local amenities and attractions. The wallabies were a welcome surprise lol. Would definitely recommend
Richard
Beautiful farm house, stunning location and views. We had everything we needed. Lots of space for the dogs and humans..!! Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable but for me the pillows on the beds are very soft and I found it difficult to sleep. But thats a minor thing considering. Maybe have an option for firmer ones in the wardrobe so guests could swap them. We would def some back and stay again.
Lovely spacious accommodation in a nice and quiet location. Particularly enjoyed the garden in the sunny weather and it was a secure area for the dogs. Property is close to a number of places to visit with walks possible right from the property. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Phillip
Fantastic cottage in a fantastic location . Where else would you find Wallabies in the adjacent field Really enjoyed our stay and rate this as the best cottage we have rented for a holiday. Plenty of room for the 7 of us
We absolutely loved our stay at Usherwoods Dairy. There was plenty of room and the downstairs bedroom was great for my mum and dad. A secure garden for our dog to enjoy . Spotless throughout with plenty of kitchen utensils to self cater. The beds were all really comfortable with nice bed linen and towels . The bath is gorgeous to relax in after exploring the surroundings. The dales are stunning and also near to the lakes in a car . A very peaceful place to make memories with the family .. we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!
Yvonne
This is a lovely, peaceful cottage which is both remote and close to visitor attractions at the same time. We always book bigger than we need so we get certain amenities such as a ground floor bedroom for my mum, and a secure garden for our rescue dog who is a little nervous. This place is huge and the secure garden is massive, with views all around. We now have Usherwoods on our list of places suitable for escape from fireworks for nervous dog
Absolutely faultless as usual. As close to the perfect stay as you can get. Everything catered for, wonderful views, already counting down the days until we return. Magnificent.
Usherwoods Dairy is a wonderful place, slap bang in the middle of the Dales with the most amazing views towards the Yorkshire 3 peaks we loved our week! Comfortable and well stocked great for walkers and cyclists. Thank you you made our stay in Yorkshire a real holiday.
Philip
Met Owner very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.
A lovely property. Remote, with wonderful views. Very clean, well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Would happily return.
We spent a long weekend with extended family at Usherwoods Dairy and enjoyed every minute we were there. The accommodation is comfortable, homely and peaceful and suited us down to the ground. There was a down stairs bedroom and bathroom which was brilliant for my dad as he struggles with stairs and mobility. The garden is a wonderful space for both children, adults and dogs to sit or have fun in and the scenery is beautiful. The owners are on site if you need them but after the initial greeting we were left to enjoy the holiday without any interruptions. Usherwoods Dairy is a beautiful, spacious cottage and great for family gettogethers so would have no hesitations in recommending this cottage to families who want a little bit of peace and quiet with home from home facilities. We will be back.
My very favourite holiday cottage. This is an amazing property in a fabulous setting. Always in immaculate condition and spotlessly clean, it offers a cosy, comfortable base from which to explore the wonderful countryside in both Yorkshire and the Lake District. We are always made so welcome by Fiona and look forward to returning again soon.
Comfortable and wellequipped house in an enviable position with sympathetic but discreet owners nearby.

The house was perfect! I cannot emphasise enough the quality of the amenities , cleanliness and attention to detail of the owners. The views surrounding the house are amazing. The house was warm and inviting when we arrived and the owner checked on us to make sure everything was ok for us. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay here and would definitely look to going back in the future.
Gorgeous property in a stunning location. Its next to the lady that owns the property and she couldnt do enough to help, nothing was any trouble. We will definitely be going back there. By far the nicest cottage and location we have been to so far.
Hilary
Cozy, homely and exceptionally comfortable with enough seating and bedrooms for everyone. Very clean. The views were as good as the accommodation! Host was really nice person. Loved our stay.
This is a wonderful cottage in beautiful surroundings. Our fourth visit and the next is already booked. Everything you need is provided and Fiona is very welcoming but never intrusive. The cottage is spotless and everything is so well cared for. The beds are extremely comfortable and there is plenty of space for everyone. The ideal place for a peaceful, relaxing break.
Dorena
A beautiful place, very comfortable. Very clean. There were seven of us and two dogs and so much space. Would definitely book again.
Rupert
There were eight of us covering three generations from nine to seventy and Usherwoods Dairy was the perfect spot. Delightfully comfortable accommodation and plenty of space. A large garden with stunning views, sheep, cows and even wallabies in the adjoining fields. Plenty of attractions within reach and walks for every ability nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, 1110
Philip
This property is in a wonderful quiet peaceful location with amazing views all around. Really well laid out, spacious great kitchen and living room. Nice sized garden, bedrooms perfect. Everything about this place is spot on, I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay if you want space, amazing countryside and a peaceful time.
Incredible place to stay stunning views and a perfect set up for our group of 8 to do the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge. I'd thoroughly recomming this place to anyone.
Christopher
One of the best properties we have stayed in. Beautiful inside and out. Fiona was there to answer all our questions, we didnt want for anything. We will be returning for sure.
Louise
We stayed at Usherwoods Dairy for our Three Peak Challenge and wish we had booked to stay longer! The house was spotless, well laid out, well equipped and perfect for our group. We all slept well with the beds being very comfortable. The views are incredible, the garden is lovely and there is plenty of parking. Fantastic property.
This is a true hidden gem in the Forest of Bowland with amazing views of the Yorkshire Dales three peaks. We found it a peaceful and tranquil haven which the four of us and our two dogs needed. Large fully enclosed garden more than suitable for our two dogs which kept them safe and free to roam. Owners Fiona and Ros were very friendly, welcoming and easily reachable for anything you need. Lots equipment and facilities, you won't need for anything! It is no wonder why they have repeat guests coming back. Don't miss out and book today!
Stunning property with amazing views. Really well thought out with everything you needed, especially in the kitchen. Fiona was really friendly and helpful. Really peaceful surroundings. We loved our time there.
Tracey
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Usherwoods. and didn't want to leave. Beautiful location surrounded by the cows, sheep and wallabies. The house was perfect, very spacious, very clean and provided everything we needed. I will definitely go back again and would highly recommend it. We were a party of seven of varying ages. The only minor things which would've helped us for the older members would have been carpet on the stairs and maybe a hand rail in the downstairs shower room but that didn't stop everyone enjoying themselves.
The only reason I scored a little lower on rhe accuracy of the listing is because is was way better. Everything was perfect. The cottage itself was immaculate. The beds offered the comfiest nights sleep. The views were perfection. So much space too. We loved every second. So much to do with the kids if you don't mind a little drive. But they also just loved playing in the huge garden. The owner was delightful and more than helpful . Just wonderful. Thank you
Pauline
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Usherwoods Dairy. The property was outstanding and the views were breathtaking. A perfect place to relax and unwind and the garden was perfect for our two Border Collies.Fiona was lovely and gave us a warm welcome. We loved seeing the wallabies behind the house and the dogs were bemused by them. We definitely plan to return and cant recommend it highly enough!
Samantha
The property was fabulous in every way. Stunning location with wonderful views and the most amazing sunset. The accommodation was amazing, quality furnishings, well equipped, comfortable beds, fabulous range of books and games to enjoy. We will definatley be going back.
Darren
An amazing property perfect for families or groups. The kitchen dining is a big space perfect for enabling everyone to be together whilst preparing meals or just as a place to enjoy a drink. The living room, also spacious, has very comfortable furniture and easily accommodates 810 people without feeling crowded. The log burning stove is a nice touch. All of the rooms have quality furniture and most importantly comfortable beds. The garden is a huge great for our 2 Shibas to run around in and is well cared for with amazing views. There isn't a thing I could fault with this property and we look forward to going back in summer. Everything is finished to a high quality. The host is also super friendly which helped make the stay all the better.
Jeremy
Lovely cottage, lovely location. Thanks for a great break.
The property is in a secluded spot with beautiful panoramic views, very peaceful and quiet. It was clean on arrival and very well equipped. The owner was helpful with any queries we had. Theres loads to do in the area, we would certainly come again and recommend to others!
We were delighted with your property couldn't have wished for anything else. Warm, comfortable and so relaxing. Plenty of space ensuring privacy for all guests.
Alison
Lovely spacious property. Ideal for large family groups there were eight of us. Well equipped with everything provided that you could possible want to make it feel like a home from home. Only negative comment to make would be that the light weight rugs in some of the bedrooms tended to slip on the polished floor. My solution was not to use the rug at my side of the bed but heavier rugs or nonslip backing would be better. Other than that we had a great holiday and I would certainly recommend this property.
Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location. Everything thought of, even a slow cooker. Perfect for a family get away.
Stewart
The location is fantastic with open views all around. Beautiful house with excellent facilities and Higher Bentham only 10 minutes away in the car. Definitely coming back to Usherwoods Dairy.
Deborah
We had an enjoyable stay at The Dairy. The cottage gave us the space to get together as a family. The views were stunning and the surroundings peaceful. The owners were helpful, particularly as we suffered from a day without water due to a local burst main. The garden was totally secure so we did not have to worry about our young dog.
Richard
Fantastic location
Fantastic rural location beautiful views, huge dog safe garden. Beautiful house I wish we could have stayed longer !!
The views from the garden were just spectacular. An extremely restful place to be and great base for walking and cycling. It was also a pleasure to be around the house and garden.
