Bramley Cottage Reviews

William
Beautiful cottage with everything we needed.
Richard
Lovely modern cottage that has been kitted out with all the amenities you need. Hosts very friendly. Hot tub was great fun and our son loved saying hello to the cows in the morning. Beautiful part of the world and to spend a relaxing few days
Rachael
This was our third stay lovely, clean, warm and spacious accommodation, really nicely decorated and equipped hot tub is great! . Very quiet area but plenty of places to get to by car within 10 60 drive...from National Trust properties Lytes Cary and Stourhead are our favourites to shopping, Cheddar Gorge and caves, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, the heronry, the 'Mump', potteries, willow basketmaking, fascinating reclamation yard.....lovely villages and towns....Langport with a Tesco is a 10 min drive, and Street with all the usual shops is about 7 miles away. A great location.
What a beautiful property. Not only is it owned by a wonderful family but it is one of the best equipped properties I have stayed at. The hot tub was a huge bonus and the Welcome Hamper was a lovely touch. Its central to some lovely places to visit. We will definitely be returning. Massive thanks to the whole Williams family.
Absolutely great cottage, everything you could possibly want and more. Spotlessly clean and hot tub checked and cleaned daily. Lovely location for touring Somerset. Owners very friendly, helpful and on hand if you need them. Can't fault anything..

A beautiful cottage with everything in it you would need, quiet and peaceful surroundings. Property clean tidy and spacious, lovely property inside and out. Would definitely stay again. Thank you 10 out off 10
Patricia
An extremely clean, comfortable and well maintained property with friendly and welcoming owners living next door. We have never seen a more pristine hot tub in a holiday let and that attention to detail was seen throughout the property. Appreciated the finer details fresh flowers, a welcome pack, mini toiletries and towels provided for the hot tub. On a working farm but peaceful and very private with high fencing allowing privacy. We had a Tesco delivery on arrival day owners will take delivery and put in fridge etc if required as there are no local shops. Nearest supermarkets a few miles away. Quiet location but lots to do within easy traveling distance including the coast WestonSuperMare, Watchet, Burnham on Sea, Brean, Minehead, several historic properties, historic market towns, Glastonbury and the bigger towns of Yeovil, Taunton and Bath. All our needs were anticipated and well catered for and we will definitely be booking again. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Robert
We really had a great stay at Bramley Cottage. It was quiet and quite a long way from busy towns and roads, you need a car, but the countryside around is lovely. Also, the quality and cleanliness of the cottage were first rate. Thoroughly recommend this one for a stay.
What a holiday ! There is everything you could possibly need in this cottage The owner Kay was lovely and there was a lovely basket of goodies left for us. I think it Is the best cottage I have stayed in so far
Alexander
This is a really lovely property, that has everything provided. Hot tub was the icing on the cake. One of the nicest properties we have stayed in. Lovely hosts too.
Booked a stay as our daughter had a weeks day camp at Millfield school. Easy to get her there in under 15mins each day. Cottage had everything you could possibly need, it was a home from home. Very peaceful location. Great hot tub in excellent condition perfect after a days sports. Had day trips to wookey hole and cheddar gorge both about 30 mins drive away. Absolutely would stay here again. Great space for us to spread out.
Brambles Cottage is wonderful extremely clean with everything you could need especially in the kitchen. Extras such as kitchen towel, tin foil, salt and pepper and other handy items provided. Lovely welcome basket appreciated. We will definitely be back.
Lovely property, very helpful owner who went 'the extra mile' to make it a special break. If wanting to stay in the area in the future would try to stay at Bramley Cottage again.
Melanie
The pictures dont do it justice! Lovely cottage. First kitchen I have used that was fully equipped with everything you need. Will stay again. Thank you
This break was absolutely perfect. Beautiful, peaceful cottage with everything you could need. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable and the hot tub was very welcome. Definitely will be back.
Suella
From before we even arrived we were made to feel welcome. We were able to do an online shop which was delivered and put away by our hosts before we arrived. We had a lovely welcome basket of essentials waiting for us in the beautiful well equipped kitchen. The whole house was beautiful, clean and spacious. The hot tub was an added delight too. Bramley cottage is situated on a working farm, but we found it to be very peaceful. There's much to visit and explore in the surrounding areas, including beautiful beaches, historic buildings and lovely villages. Thank you for a lovely weeks holiday stay.
Michelle
One the cleanest places I have stayed the owner and her family are so welcoming
We had a fantastic holiday at Bramley Cottage, set in the beautiful countryside the house itself is well located to visit the Jurassic coast, as well as heading north up to Bath or for shopping at Street. The cottage is so well organised, with everything you need, and having the hot tub was such a bonus. We woke up in the mornings to enjoy a dip in the hot tub, watching the cows and listening to the birds singing! The wifi was great for our kids and we really could not fault a thing in this lovely house, the owner was so kind and had left a lovely welcome basket for us on arrival which had all the essentials for our stay.
Teresa
Really lovely, tastefully decorated & spacious property in a quiet, peaceful location despite still being a working farm. We didn't hear a peep out of the cows all week. We enjoyed staying here and wouldnt hesitate to book again. I have a bad back and being honest, I am overweight and found the mattress in smaller superking room wasn't very comfortable for me personally but it may be perfectly fine for most folk. I ended up using the single bed in 3rd bedroom which was fine as there were only two of us in our party in the end. Friendly, helpful owners who are just next door left us a welcome basket which was much appreciated. We enjoyed seeing the barn owl at dusk and a robin and blackbird visited us most days. Some narrow lanes in the surrounding area but main roads easily accessible within a few minutes drive. Great to have two bathrooms, one on each floor. Three spacious bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Also a decent size loungediner. The outside area is very relaxing with a hot tub, plenty of seating and a rotary airer for drying towels etc. Terrific WiFi but mobile phone signal not as good I'm on Tesco mobile which iswas O2 Overall would highly recommend this property particularly if you appreciate peace and quiet.
We enjoyed our stay in Bramley Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lee very helpful and friendly
Samuel
Absolutely fantastic cottage with everything we needed. Spent 4 nights there and had the best time in a beautiful cottage in a stunning location.
Best holiday let weve stayed in by far! Very comfortable, well equipped, well maintained and so clean! The owner and her family were very welcoming and helpful. Lovely, peaceful area too. We all thoroughly enjoyed staying at Bramley Cottage and will be going back again.

Bramley Cottage is a little gem tucked away in a beautiful part of Somerset. Close to all local towns such as Street, Somerton, Langport, Yeovil, Taunton... There are some truly lovely pubs in this part of the world too I'd highly recommend the Firehouse in Curry Rivel, but more locally there's a great pub within a mile in the very close village of High Ham. The property itself is beautiful, warm and has absolutely everything you need. It's more of a 'home' and less of a 'holiday home', and certainly feels like somewhere you would very happily move into. We holidayed here with three boys and it worked perfectly. Obviously they loved the hot tub and were in and out of it constantly during our 7 nights here. I would very strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a well maintained, beautiful property in a calm part of rural Somerset.
Harriet
Bramley Cottage is a lovely holiday home. All rooms are beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you could want. The location is peaceful and perfect for visiting the many places of interest around. The owners are very warm, caring and welcoming and happy to help with any enquiry. The Christmas decorations and welcome pack added a special feel to our holiday. Really looking forward to returning when we can. 5 star in every way
Beautiful property, all the little extras. Decorated for Christmas very pretty. Beds not comfortable but that was only grip. We didn't realise how remote this property was though so would not return. Nowhere to take dog for a walk which not ideal for us and need a 4x4 to get anywhere as roads very basic. Very dangerous driving there in dark as no lighting and not well signposted.
Tracey
We arrived on Friday 22nd September. The house was spotless in every room. The property is decorated beautifully and had everything you would need for your stay including games and dvds. The owner had left us a basket with a cake, milk, orange juice and a bottle of wine. The owner lives next door and very friendly and would help with anything. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone that is looking for somewhere quiet. As a family we would definitely go back and stay again.
A beautiful property, but spoilt by excessive charge for pets. Average pet charge from our experience is approximately 25.00 per week. This property charges 25.00 per day! This amounted to nearly 20 of the total holiday cost. For this received not even a dog biscuit.
We stayed at Bramley cottage for a week as a family of 6 the cottage is so ... We stayed at Bramley cottage for a week as a family of 6 the cottage is so beautiful and clean and its a very peaceful location the owner is lovely and on hand if you need anything the jacuzzi is a great asset and we used it daily at night to relax and unwind in the house itself is spotless and has all of the things you need to be self catering we definitely will revisit one day so we can visit my sister again who doesnt live too far away an enjoyable week away many thanks

Wow what a truly amazing cottage in the Somerset countryside! Extremely clean and well equipped, hot tub was perfect. Excellent WiFi, very spacious with 3 large bedrooms, huge kitchen with lots of storage space, lounge and dining area equally as spacious and very comfortable. Situated on the edge of a quiet farm, the owners are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we felt extremely welcome and lucky to be able to stay in this cottage. Lots to do in the area, close to beaches to the north and south. Close to some lovely pretty towns Glastonbury, Langport, river walks, cheddar gorge and cider farms. Supermarket, takeaways and restaurants nearby within 10 minute drive. We have stayed in lots of holiday accommodation and this was one of the best. Welcome hamper was a lovely surprise, we had such an amazing week we didn't want to go home, we will be returning!
