Wood Cottage is a lovingly renovated 200-year-old stone barn on a working sheep farm in the North York Moors National Park. This reverse-level barn conversion sits near Chop Gate in the Cleveland Hills. Original stone walls and bright first-floor living spaces give you sweeping views across Raisdale and Bilsdale. Chop Gate village and its pub sit half a mile away. Great Broughton (4 miles, 8 minutes) has the Jet Miners pub. Stokesley (7 miles, 15 minutes) offers a weekly market and shops. Helmsley (20 minutes) has cafes and handmade chocolates. Whitby and its abbey are an hour's drive.
