Two ground-floor bedrooms sleep four. The king-size double has a door to the garden. The twin has two singles. A ground-floor bathroom features a P-shaped bath with shower. A separate cloakroom adds a second WC. Upstairs the open-plan space includes a country dining table, sitting area with electric stove-effect fire and a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine.

Chop Gate village and its pub sit half a mile away. Great Broughton (4 miles, 8 minutes) has the Jet Miners pub. Stokesley (7 miles, 15 minutes) offers a weekly market and shops. Helmsley (20 minutes) has cafes and handmade chocolates. Whitby and its abbey are an hour's drive.
