The Shippons Reviews

Had a lovely holiday at The Shippons, all on one level so no problems for the young children. Surroundings were beautiful and children could enjoy garden and also play in paddock, owners were around and always friendly. Would have been nice to have a second shower room but otherwise perfect
We had the most incredible stay at your gorgeous cottage. It is situated in the perfect location for exploring the area, just a walk away from Abersoch village and its beaches. The cottage itself is stunning rooms that are even bigger than the photos convey, gorgeous character throughout & incredible, cozy, social spaces. I celebrated my 30th birthday here with friends & it was the perfect base to show them around the Llyn Peninsular. I was worried about 8 people sharing 2 bathrooms but it was fine. The beautiful master bedroom & the living rooms cozy log fire with beamed ceilings were definite highlights!

Everything was just perfect for our relaxing Family Holiday with Family members of a wide age range. . So much space inside and outside including large grounds for playing ball games and other activities. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is just a short walk from a local pub for meals and a little further into the village for more options. There are good road connections to other main towns on the coast.
Absolute gem of a cottage, the grounds are beautifully maintained and looked after. The host met us on arrival and showed us round, she really made us feel welcome. The cottage is very spacious inside with everything you could need for a wonderful holiday. The only thing it would benefit from would be a wall mounted shower head and curtain in the main bathroom.
Heather
Lovely, spacious property, ideal for large family groups. Beautifully furnished and generally very well equipped, although, as mentioned in the feedback of others, a hair dryer and a shower screen in the main bathroom would be helpful additions. Host, Mary, lives on site and was helpful, friendly and communicative. Really enjoyed our stay!
William
Excellent property and perfect for our family of 5 , grandparents and a dog! Thanks for a wonderful stay. Front door was jamming as was discussed. Only comment for longer term would be a shower curtain or cubicle in main bathroom would be beneficial.
The owners were absolutely delightful and couldn't do enough for us to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. However, we expected a hair dryer and towels to be provided but this didn't spoil our stay. Can highly recommend the Shippons.
Catherine
Beautiful cottage with lots of room for us all. Set in a beautiful spot.
