The properties are nicely maintained and are in a wonderfully peaceful setting with footpaths close by giving access to nearby hills with fantastic views.
Newfield Farm Cottages was ideal for our intergenerational family but felt that additional facilities would have made my stay in Forget Me Not much easier, ie with a bathroom stool and grab rails in the shower plus a rubber bath mat for safety reasons. I had checked and been advised rubber bathmats were not supplied, nor bedroom fans, so we had taken them with us. Pillows had been another query but in the event my pillows were perfect, with one firm and another softer. Empty barbecue gas bottles were replaced promptly on request. Overall all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay both young and old.

Lots of space. Lovely secure enclosed garden. Lots of parking. Fabulous area, great for a large group. Gas ran out and was immediately replaced when owner was made aware. Will be booking again.
Lovely cottages fitted to a very high standard, we had a brilliant holiday! You could easily have 20 adults and have plenty of space inside and out. The local pub, The Anvil was a 40 minute stroll, you could go cross country or road. Cottages all clean on arrival and welcoming. Felt clean, safe and welcoming. This property is rural and on a working farm which was lovely and well kept. Lots to do locally, cider farm, brewery in Blandford, National Trust properties and lots more really good location. I would recommend this property and hope to return.

Absolute incredible stay! I hired all 3 cottages for my hen. It was perfect for what we needed and plenty of space. We didnt have anything bad to say about the property. A few of the girls asked for the link, so they could book for their families. Would highly recommend!

Newfield Farm Cottage is a large barn conversion divided into three adjoining cottages. The largest had 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There were two further cottages plus a Games Room. We were a party of eight adults and six young children. The two families with children shared the large cottage. This arrangement was ideal. We ate together at breakfast and dinner but were not constantly in each other's way and carried out independent activities during the day. The property was on a large plot of land which included a play area with two swings and a slide. As we had all three cottages to ourselves, our young grandchildren and the dog could play and run around safely. Both the adults and children enjoyed the table tennis and table football in the Games Room. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and we went on some lovely walks. There was a nice pubrestaurant where we had dinner and we also had a couple of barbecues. A Tesco superstore was nearby. All in all we had a wonderful time.

All 19 members of my family had a great week at Newfield Farm Cottages. We fitted in comfortably, and were able to bbq, eat outdoors, relax and play games including table tennis and badminton and climb the nearby hill to see a beautiful sunset. It was a perfect setting for ages 16 months 72 years so highly recommended!
The cottages are ideal for a large group of people. Plenty of cutlery, plates etc. There's a games room which was appreciated. The BBQs got plenty of use. Lovely cake on arrival, as well as flowers, nice welcome, and eggs for breakfast. Beautiful location. Lovely walks to go on. Lo's Cafe is a great place to visit, a very pretty walk on the footpaths through the fields. Definitely worth a walk up the hill opposite to watch the sunset. We were able to get a wheelchair up the hill and a double buggy. The dogs loved the garden and it was contained, so no worries about escape. It was so nice to get everyone to together, but have your own space too.

Newfield Farm Cottages are perfect for an extended family holiday. The ages within our family ranged from 3 to 89 and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Facilities for children are very good with lots of games and books provided. The games room was a welcome facility, as was the children's swings and slide. The accommodation is fantastic, spacious and comfortable and the attention to detail welcomed. The location is amazing. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay, just perfect for our Ruby wedding anniversary celebration with all the family. With 4 young grandchildren and 3 dogs the cottages were gated so safe for them to wander round. You even arranged the sunshine We only had one criticism and that was the road going into the cottages which Im assuming is part of the farm, it badly needs attention, we had to drive ridiculously slowly so as not to ruin the tyres.
Fabulous place for an extended family get together for 19 people including 4 children. Highly recommended

Absolutely gorgeous. Everything you could need . We had all 3 cottages for a family gathering. Every cottage had eggs ,tea,milk,coffee,shortbread and flowers. Beds and bedding really comfortable,clean and fresh.So homely,didn't want to leave. We all absolutely loved it.Highly recommend. Thankyou Newfield for making our special remembrance weekend memorable. It was perfect!!!!!!!

What a fabulous cottage , there was 18 of us included small children, all had a wonderful time . The accommodation is very roomy with everything you need . There was a welcome pack for adults and the dogs . Very quiet didnt hear anything from the farm apart from the chickens. Fantastic walks, bike rides from the door . The local pub was a mile away good food . Would definitely recommend.
Arriving in these lovely cottages were flowers, cake , eggs and milk waiting for us, it made us feel at home straight away. The rooms are all tastefully decorated, the bathrooms clean and modern. The kitchens had everything we needed maybe some kitchen scales would have helped and Rose cottage was so spacious we all fitted in perfectly. We had a perfect birthday celebration and can throughly recommend a stay. Anna also made sure we had everything we needed.
We booked all 3 cottages for a 70th birthday and it was just perfect! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the surroundings beautiful and a lovely large dining area in Rose Cottage for a dinner party. The photos do not do justice to how beautiful the cottages are! We will definitely be back again
The cottages were perfect for a large party for our Dads 90th. We all had plenty of room and the dogs could run freely in the garden. The mirror in the lounge of Rose Cottage is amazing, we all looked at least 2 stone lighter.

Great place for large groups to stay. Comfortable lounges, excellent bathrooms. Good kitchen equipment. Extremely quiet and peaceful, except when visited by the resident guinea fowl!, very dark at night, excellent for shooting star watching! Situated within reasonable driving distance to many varied activities, beaches, stately homes, etc. Lovely welcoming touches, flowers, eggs, milk, and home made flapjacks all provided on arrival.
We had a fab stay for a hen do. The property had everything we needed and everyone had a fabulous time. The communication in the run up to the booking was spot on and the payment plan with reminders made it super easy. Would deffo recommend the property to others!

The three cottages, with the middle larger Rose cottage, are ideal for a family getaway. The cottages are deep in the countryside surrounded by fields and provide an ideal respite from the general hubbub of town and city life with only birdsong breaking the silence. We all enjoyed the walking with ideally placed farmcoffee shops and the sight of hares boxing in the open fields.
We all really enjoyed our stay at Newfield Farm Cottages. The three cottages were all clean, well maintained and beds set up as requested. Fresh flowers and eggs on arrival were a nice touch. It's a great location, very rural which suited us. The only little thing was the curtains let in a lot of light and there were only a couple of teaspoons.
We had a wonderful stay at the cottages. They were clean and just like in the pictures. The owners had put some lovely touches of fresh flowers and home made flapjacks. The fridges all had milk and the basic essentials were all there for us. Would definitely come back as couldnt fault it. Thank you for creating such a great place to stay.
This was a fantastic break for 13 of us, to celebrate our mums birthday. The cottages are so well appointed and theyre situated in beautiful countryside. Rose cottage is perfect as the main base to host meals the kitchen was really well thought about and the other cottages were great to retreat to! They had everything you would need and the owners were really easy to communicate with. We loved it so much we're already planning our next stay!
Fourteen of us, aged 18 months to 83 years, thoroughly enjoyed a winter weekend. The property was warm, comfortable and wellequipped. We used all three cottages and the layout worked well. The games room was a great success and there was plenty of room in Rose Cottage for us all to eat and socialise together. For families when the weather is dry but cool we recommend the Detective Treasure Trail in Blandford Forum.

Nothing seemed to much for her The cottages themselves are beautifully done up. They are cosy, spacious and we all loved this space. We had a wonderful stay at Newfield Cottages. It was the perfect location for our large family gathering of ten adults and two children. The flow of the rooms meant we could enjoy time together eating, chatting and playing games or settle into a comfy chair to read and relax. The beds were comfortable and it was perfect having so many bathrooms. The games room was enjoyed by us all and we appreciated the welcoming flowers, eggs, cakes and milk.

18 of us stayed here in all three cottages and they were perfect. The cottages were beautiful and clean, there was plenty of space for all of us and we were all really comfortable. Really peaceful location and fairly easy to find. Anna was easy to get in touch with and there was teacoffee, milk, eggs and lemon cake in each cottage which was a lovely touch! We didn't bring kids with us, but the cottages were very child friendly they'd thought of everything as there were even kids books in the bunk bed rooms and lots of games for kids in the games room. The beds were really comfortable the whole place was just perfect. We were all absolutely thrilled and are already planning on coming back.

We loved it and would stay again. The location was beautiful and calm and very child friendly. The indoor spaces accommodated our wide variety of ages and abilities perfectly. Our only qualm was that two of the washing machines werent also dryers as expected and there werent many clotheshorses to dry the laundry on. But other than that we were extremely satisfied with our stay!

The cottages are roomy, cosy, and nicely decorated. There was plenty of space for twelve adults, seven children of variousl ages and five dogs! There is loads of outside space all safely enclosed. The owner was extremely helpful and arranged a home cooked meal for when we arrived as well as fresh eggs and homemade cake. We had an absolutely fantastic weekend and didnt want to come home.

Property generally really good, clean and up to date. In addition, there were lovely little touches such as flowers, cake, eggs, dog treats and essentials such as milk, tea, etc.. The meal provided was just right, and not too dear either! Only concerns slight problems with bathroom in Bluebell, and we were a bit chilly. Looks as though this cottage is being spruced up anyway! A real thankyou from us all to Anna for making this a happy and memorable weekend!
We had all three cottages to accommodate the whole family. Rose Cottage could easily accommodate us all for meals and the games room and tv lounge were a hit with the children! As usual, Sykes got it right for us.
We stayed at the Newfield Cottage for a Hen do and the cottage was absolutely perfect. Each bedroom is well decorated, it is spacious with plenty of space for relaxing and a beautiful large kitchen. We are already thinking about booking again for a family get together next year. Our hosts were also very helpful and left beautiful goodies for our arrival. Thank you for a wonderful weekend from us all.

An absolutely fantastic holiday property. The perfect size and layout for 18 people. Highly recommend having an evening meal made for you by Anna. Plenty enough to go around and to a high standard. Made life so much easier!! Everyone enjoyed their time. This place is definitely one to stay at.
