Nethercote Byre Reviews

The cottage itself is lovely, the roadlane approaching the property is in need of a lot of attention. The pot holes are huge. The cleanliness of the property was not great with previous occupancy dirty socks left in the bedroom ,bits of Lego all over the floors in most rooms and the bedrooms were really dusty, the wardrobe could also do with a clean as we had cobwebs stuck to our clothes when getting them out of the wardrobe. Also we had to wash all the plates, glasses and cutlery as they were all filthy on arrival .
The Byre was comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful place, peaceful, wonderful walks straight from property.
A wonderful and magical stay, thank you!
Many thanks for a wonderful, peaceful stay at Nethercote Byre. It was so lovely to be so remote in a beautiful valley in Exmoor. The Byre itself was spacious and cosy, with a lovely outside seating area we enjoyed in an unusually warm and sunny April week. Our Tesco food delivery van, enjoyed the scenic drive up the track, don't let previous feedback put you off booking this lovely holiday home.
