Sally's Barn Reviews

Jacqui
We had a great weekend at Sally's barn. Clean, warm and comfortable. Everything we needed, so peaceful. Great for our families. Would definitely recommend it to others and we hope to return in the future. Quick response from the owners when we needed to contact them.
Excellent venue for a 3 family Christmas offering both space and comfort. Christmas tree and festive bits and pieces were a nice touch. Garden was secure for dogs and children and good parking for 3 cars. Contacting the owner when required was easy and received a quick reply. The area has plenty of interest, even in winter. We would not hesitate to return.
Nicola
We stayed for a short weekend break as two families. Location next to national trusts, beautiful towns was spot on. The accommodation was very comfortable, spacious and cosy! Well be back!
Christine
Lovely place to stay and not far from Chirk and Oswestry. The barn was lovely and clean and the kitchen was huge! Ideal to host our xmas dinner ! The only thing I would say is the living room is rather small to fit 8 people as advertised. Ideal size for myself and three friends. Would definitely go again !
This is a beautiful house and the enclosed garden is great for the dogs. Beds are very comfy and there is plenty of space in the house. Things the owners might like to consider ....We have a log burner at home so came prepared but the items to facilitate a log fire for 3 nights were not there. No firefighters or kindle and 4 logs are not sufficient. There was no hand soap provided and perhaps a small welcome pack might be a nice touch... Milk, a loaf etc...just a thought. Having said that we had a good time and would come back .
Excellent property. Renovated to a very high standard.
This is an excellent accommodation, spacious, well appointed and comfortable, and in a quiet location, but with no views worth mentioning. Ample car parking, large outdoor space. Some of the basic equipment serving spoon, kitchen scissors were broken when we arrived, and surprisingly there were no champagne flutes provided. A welcome pack with a bottle of fizz and some snacks would have been nice.
Hannah
We had a lovely stay at Sallys barn. Everything is as described and the property was extremely clean. We would definitely stay again.
Rachel
Loved the cottage as whole nice comfy beds, cozy sitting room, and very clean. However there were some easily corrected niggles and that was only 3 bowls for a cottage sleeping 8, we had 5 members. a broken toilet seat upstairs, I am sure someone would have fixed it if I had asked but I was busy. and the 2 small ovens on the large cooker did not work, sadly it was the large one that I tried 3rd!! I would have been happy with a note stating this as otherwise the large oven was fine. Happy to leave bedding pulled back to show which had been slept in, but asking for us to strip them a little much for the price we are on holiday. getting packed up for 10am is normal and I have no problem with stripping beds is a job to far when concentrating on not forgetting anything. Also not cold water in the upstairs sinks my Mum wanted water in the night and she had to go down to the kitchen and she is on sticks But as I said a lovely cottage and place and we loved our stay. Sallys Barn was delightful , we had a lovely stay and it was so peaceful. The sheep were very entertaining in the next door field and to listen to the birdsong was beautiful. The barn had everything we needed and was most comfortable and spacious. We would definitely visit again. Thank you

We booked Sallys Barn for a 7 night stay and had a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage is well equipped, modern, spacious and very comfortable. There are plenty of local walks, local sights and I would recommend the walks around Llangollen and the Aquaduct. I would recommend this property to others.
