Millbarn, Lawford

Property has a lot of wear and tear. Not very clean and well maintained. The back yard is very neglected. None of the doors to the outdoor spaces open. Hot water is very poor. Some of the wallpaper is peeling off. No games room as advertised.

Wonderful house in a lovely location. Great village pub nearby house itself is perfect for big groups well stocked, lots of beds and bedrooms. We had a great long weekend here.

Beautiful property, much bigger than the pictures. And wonderful location with view of the hills and 25min walk along lanes to a great pub. And fridge has instant ice maker, so no need to bring ice!

We had a really great weekend, and Millbarn is a lovely house. Plenty of space for our family and friends party of 14, and a great layout of bathrooms and bedrooms. The website doesn't make it clear that the bedrooms are grouped in 2's and 3's, and each little group has it's own very generous sized bathroom with a shower and bath. So the layout worked very well for us. The bedrooms are really good sizes, and so is the kitchen, and the sitting room.. In fact the kitchen is huge perfect for all of us, and with a lovely big table to seat 14 perfectly. Masses of implements etc in the kitchen, so catering wasn't a challenge. Lovely local walks the pub is the perfect distance for a lazy walk for a drink before lunch ! And a lovely little post office shop to get our newspaper on Saturday morning ! Really nothing wrong so I am putting 5 stars, but unfortunately the dishwasher broke down on our first night ! Certainly not the fault of the owners, who did try to get someone to fix it, but of course it meant that we had to wash everything up for all 14 people for the whole weekend !!
