Fell View House, Lambrigg

This is a fantastic welldecorated property as per its description. The views are beautiful and the photos dont truly capture the surroundings. Furnishings and all facilities were great. Easy access to all nearby attractions once get used to some narrow roads. For owner separate comments a pedal bin in kitchen may be easier to use and recycling bags not seen.

House is spectacular, spotless and the quality of bedding & towels beautiful. It is remote and access roads difficult to negotiate so be prepared for a rollercoaster of a ride from the B roads to the property.

We had a brilliant stay overall and really enjoyed our time at Fell view house . The scenery was truly breathtaking and the property made for a lovely, relaxing break. There were just a couple of minor issues, like the kettle being a little rusty, and although we were told a replacement would be delivered the next day, it never arrived. We also noticed a sewage smell coming from one of the toilets when we first arrived,a plumber did arrived to take a look at this on the day, and couldnt find the cause of the smell,but that did clear up by the third day. Despite these small issues, they didnt take away from what was otherwise a really enjoyable stay. Wed happily recommend the property and would consider staying again. We took 4 generations to Fell View House, from age 4 to 90. Hand on heart everyone enjoyed everything about the house location, views, facilities and the birds and the sheep. It suited our needs perfectly and will definitely be top of the list if we are in this area again.

We stayed at fell view house as a party of two families, x4 adults & x4 children. Gorgeous property. Well maintained & clean. Kitchen has everything you need & more, ice dispenser was much used & appreciated. Kids loved the hot tub & log burner was cozy on an evening. Views stunning, short drive from main road. Watching the lambs play from the sofa was lovely. Property description says that x2 rooms can be made into twin rooms we wanted to use for the children. However actually only one can. Contacted Sykes after the booking & offered camp bed which we agreed too, however we were told by owners they unfortunately didn't get the message. Although quickly resolved when we telephoned Sykes. We all had a brilliant time & wouldn't hesitate to return. You wont be disappointed if you book.

This property has amazing views everything you could need is provided unfortunately we had a flood in one of the showers caused by a blocked shower trap the owner fixed it within an hour of us calling him! We had a great time until the heating went off on the Friday morning we tried to ring the two numbers we had for help but got no reply till about 8 pm on the Friday night by then we had rang and texted numerous times and it was very cold when we eventually got someone out they found that the oil heating had run out of oil so they supplied us with 3 electric heaters to use for the next two days as they couldnt get any oil delivered till after we left! This spoilt our holiday as we were still cold !! Hot Tub was Great !!

What an amazing house. We loved it so much. Amazing log fire and the hot tub was fabulous. The kids enjoyed it so much. The house had everything we needed with a well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommended this house with the most wonderful views ever.

An absolute fantastic property in a beautiful part of the world. Being from flat Suffolk this trip was exactly what we were after. The accommodation was clean, modern, and very spacious for four adults and four boys aged 69 My only complaint is we didn't get any snow while we were visiting! Will be visiting again for sure. Thankyou for a fantastic way to round off the festive period.

Fabulous stay for a joint 50th birthday! Beautiful house, very relaxing and comfortable. Well equipped Hot tub lovely after a day out in the lakes. Lovely tranquil location and views, care needs to be taken when driving to location as narrow single track roads but access to the main road not too far.

Fellview House met and surpassed our expectations. The house is beautiful and is so well equipped we took so many things which we just didn't need as they were already there. I cant recommend this place enough. We had an amazing stay and cant wait to return. Only one downside was we had a problem with flies in the house especially the kitchen but being in the middle of the countryside theres not much you can do about it, it definitely won't stop us returning we will just take some fly strips with us.

Fantastic property in a quiet and peaceful place,plenty of space for 8 guests. Would highly recommend this property if youre looking for some rural relaxation and quite, yet only 4 miles from Kendal.

Fantastic place and location. Super views from all the windows. the fallen tree up the lane made for some great pictures at sunset. Paste the above as comments and feedback only. this is for the owner only. A few suggestions and small issues. The drinks fridge was frozen and the door would not close. we switched it off and let it defrost. Bin bags were missing Suggestions. A Gazebo over hot tub would be helpful. Kids cutlery and cups would be useful for the kids. Extra towels for hot tub would be useful.

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend at Fell View House. This is such a beautiful property, it had so much space and everything we needed for our family to have a special weekend together. The interior is luxurious and beautifully decorated and the hot tub a real treat, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all ages! I just wish we could've stayed all week! The communication from Lisa and Andrew has been brilliant, I would highly recommend and hope to book to come back soon!

We stayed at Fell View House for a second time & will definitely stay again. The house is amazing as is having the hot tub. The views are breathtaking & it is so nice to just sit & enjoy the peace. The weather was scorching & it would have been nice to have a parasol to provide some shade but other than that you cant fault anything about the house.

We had a brilliant stay at Fell Vew. Lovely spacious property with beautiful views. The family especially enjoyed the hot tub. The children loved watching the lambs in srrounding fields. The owner was very kind and quick to respond to our query regarding hot tub levels. We will definitely book again in the future.

Beautiful property in a peaceful setting with far reaching views. Very comfortable living arrangements for our group of eight adults. Hot tub and outdoor seating area an added bonus for all to enjoy. Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.

We stayed at Fell View House with our daughter and grown up grandchildren. The house is amazing. Really comfy beds and fantastic showers. The views are superb and the hot tub was well used. My only recommendation would be for some serving spoons and baking sheets in the kitchen. It didnt spoil our holiday we nipped into Kendal and bought some

We had a lovely stay at Fell View House the house was fantastic as was the hot tub. Views are amazing & it was so peaceful. The beds were so comfy & I would recommend anyone to stay there.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at fell view. We loved the big dinning table area and the hot tub!! The views from every window were amazing! We booked massages and facials with Sara, from Lake District pamper parties, highly recommend her 5 stars! Would definitely return. Only things we feel we're missing was oven gloves, washing up liquid and a mop!

The house is in an absolutely beautiful setting, upon entering we knew is was going to be something special, the sitting room is inviting and very comfortable, with comfy sofas and chairs, the log burner was a very welcome addition and although we haven't used one before we managed to get it going with ease. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and more. The dinning room is huge and the pictures on the wall of the original buildings are very interesting, loved the framed cap the utility was very handy for coats and boots after walks out. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds very comfy, line and towels were hotel standard, and the ensuite and bathrooms were spotless. Having TVs in each room avoided any arguments! We loved using the hot tub a fabulous addition ! We visited for 5 days over Christmas and the owners decorated the house including a beautiful tree which was very much appreciated. All of my questions were answered promptly by the owner, I was nervous for cooking Christmas dinner in a strange kitchen but I need not have worried, the double oven was a godsend and there was more than enough serving dishes, ovenware and plates and glasses. We had the most amazing Christmas at Fell View House , thank you so much ! I would not hesitate recommending a visit.

Lovely cottage with amazing views would love to book again

Fell view house surpassed our expectations hugely. The house itself is immaculate and had everything we needed and the grounds were exceptional, the location was a little far out if you're looking for places to eat but for us it was perfect as it was out of the way in the countryside. Would highly recommend this property and the owner is lovely. I would not recommend Sykes cottages however, we booked another property before this and Sykes withheld 902 despite there being a an acceptable as per terms and conditions reason the booking could not go ahead and the cancellation being made 1 day past the 6 week cancellation refund timescale. Not understanding in the slightest and won't be booking through Sykes again.

Beautiful property with everything finished to a high standard. Everything you could need is provided and more. Great sized bedrooms with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and in a beautiful peaceful location. I stayed with my wider family for a relaxing birthday celebration and we all very much enjoyed the hot with the beautiful views very relaxing!
