Owl Barn Reviews

Belinda
Just got back from a week staying here with our family of 6 adults and 3 children. The house was perfect to space for all, very comfortable and well equipped. The host was very helpful and gave us ideas on where we could go and was always on hand if we needed anything. The property was well located to a number of places including Hereford and Leominster. Would also highly recommend the small breeds farm and Ludlow castle. We will be returning next year
Our group of nine family members had a wonderful four night stay at Owl Barn over the New Year period. We found it to be extremely well equipped, maintained and above all, comfortable. The owner visited on the first evening to answer any questions and ensure we had everything we needed, but after that we were left to our own devices. The ONLY suggestion we could make was for a rail to hold the shower head over the bath in one of the ensuites, but apart from that it was all perfect. Thank you!
Madeleine
Absolutely gorgeous property, well kept and had everything we needed for a large group stay. Loved the upstairs space for socialising. And the kitchen and dining room were so spacious which was great for cooking for 10 people. And obviously we loved the hot tub! Only thing was the upstairs got very warm even after we turned down the thermostats especially the mezzanine bed. But no real bother!

A great place for a family holiday, in a really lovely area and County. The barn is beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and spotless we couldn't fault it. The owners were helpful and informative. A memorable week.
This is a lovely property well equipped and walking trails on the doorstep. Our hosts Martin and Becky were able to give us plenty of information regarding other stunning walks within the area. Owl Barn is in a very rural area which is what we were all looking for, peaceful and only the odd toot of the resident Owl. We would definitely recommend this area and of course Owl Barn as it is has a perfect setting.
The cottage was excellent and we had a great weeklong February stay 4 adults and 6 children ranging from 113 years old. It had everything we needed including travel cot, stair gates and a great selection of toys, games and books. The garden was great for the kids despite the wet weather and the hot tub was a really nice feature. Overall a great holiday cottage and as good as advertised.
Lovely girls weekend at Owl Barn. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful nothing was too much trouble and always contactable. The barn is beautiful with an amazing twist of rustic and modern. Beds, towels, etc are all fresh and clean for your arrival. Kitchen is also equipped with everything you could need! Fab weekend stay! Thank you!
Fabulous property, well equiped ,spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. We were warmly welcomed by our host Martyn, who provided us with lots of information on places to visit, and suggestions for good places to eat and drink, in the surrounding area. There are lovely country walks from your doorstep, and lots of interesting towns to enjoy. We had a wonderful week and would definitely return.
Jeremy
Excellent location for us although tye bedroom layout might not be universally suitable. Excellent host, onsite but hands off.
A beautiful well equipped property. Tranquil setting Lovely hosts who were on hand if needed Would certainly recommend
The most beautiful holiday cottage! We stayed as a group of 9 adults and felt we had plenty of room for all of us. The pictures really don't do this place justice, it is huge! Gorgeous grounds, well equipped and fab ensuites on all the bedrooms. We couldn't fault it and some of the group have already said they want to come back! 1010

We had a lovely stay at Owl Barn. The layout was great, the house well equipped and the hot tub an added bonus. Its a beautiful setting, our only disappointment was the rain which limited our use of the garden as much as we would have liked.
Camilla
Owl Barn was absolutely beautiful, and each of my friends said the same as they arrived! Lovely large open plan living space with nice spacious bedrooms. It was in a really peaceful spot and really is in the middle of nowhere which is just what we wanted. After settling in we were met by Alex who was really friendly and happy to give recommendations, as well as there being a huge folder of recommended nearby eateries etc in the barn. Had a really lovely long weekend and would definitely return!
Beautiful quiet location. super spacious, very clean facilities with the barn looking over the lovely garden! Very comfy beds in bedrooms all with access to en suite facilities. Large sitting room kitchendining area with fridge, cooking facilities etc. Would highly recommend Owl Barn. A suggestion that maybe the entrance could have the name of the farm clearly placed as it was a little difficult to find in the dark despite having been given detailed instructions, even if it just an extra security light above the turn into the driveway we all got lost arriving!
A very nice spacious property in very quiet hamlet. Ideal facilities and great for family reunions etc. Hot tub nice touch. Friendly owners.
We had the most lovely stay, our hosts couldnt have been more welcoming or helpful with us from advice where to go and what to do including ideas for the children to sorting out any of our requirements. The garden is huge for the kids to play in, hot tub easy to use, kitchen well stocked with all amenities required for a large group, even games and sports equipment in cupboards and chests around the house was a fantastic surprise to us. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one. A

We booked the house for a family get together, all of us agreed the house was great, very modern and spacious the only thing we thought was lacking was the need for another fridge, knowing the property was quite secluded we took all food and drinks with us but there was just not enough room in the fridge other than that it was very well equipped. ..martin the owner popped by when we arrived to help with any questions we had. We was lucky with the weather and got to enjoy the lovely garden....we all had a great stay and would definitely return
