Cow Byre is a beautifully restored stone barn conversion in the village of Scagglethorpe, North Yorkshire. Original timber beams span the vaulted ceilings whilst exposed stonework and traditional barn doors preserve the agricultural heritage. The conversion sleeps six guests and features an open fire in the main living area.

The barn sits in peaceful Ryedale countryside. Rolling farmland stretches in every direction. You'll wake to views across open fields and hear nothing but birdsong.

Inside you'll find three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The ground floor has an open-plan kitchen and dining area with original flagstone flooring. A separate sitting room offers comfortable seating around the wood-burning stove. Upstairs a mezzanine landing leads to the bedrooms.

Castle Howard lies 4 miles away (10 minutes' drive). Malton's monthly food markets are 6 miles distant (15 minutes). The North York Moors National Park starts 12 miles north (25 minutes). Flamingo Land theme park sits 8 miles away (20 minutes).
