Bears Court Barn 2, Little Rissington

A great place to stay in the Cotswolds. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Bedrooms were very comfortable and living area very spacious. Enough room for 6 adults, 2 dogs and a baby. Hot tub was also used and this was great. Would recommend and definitely come back!

Ok so this was a perfect venue for us as we had a wedding in Stow in the Wold. The pros it's in a lovely area & if maintained properly could maintain it's 5 star but it's not. The bedding is horrible, dull & 5050 polyestercotton from Dunelm. The pillows are also flat & done. The dishwasher was full on our arrival. The washer doesn't work properly, the kettle was so full of timescale, the floors were dirty & there's no mop & bucket! The curtains are extremely dirty as are the sofas! Our hot tub has a part missing so you had your own fountain going on not a nice experience as it should be! The hood was also broken so if you pulled it properly open it slipped off! There's plenty of crockery etc & plenty of space but absolutely no hooks in the bathrooms or anywhere to hang or place your belongings other than a very small hanger in the bedroom it really needs some thought & TLC. Even the kitchen tap exploded whilst we were there but my Husband fixed it back on. We reported the hot tub leaving a VM message but never got a response so we accepted things and got on with it! Very annoyingly we were a day late in arriving due to a poorly dog & had reserved a couple of extra nights to compensate but decided against staying longer in the end as we wanted to get back with him however the owner would not let us cancel as she had allegedly already turned someone away for the extra MonTues night! Very mean we had only reserved them the day before & there were plenty of other barns available! It's a shame, it's definitely NOT 5 luxury which is a shame as they have great potential! Worth noting that the hot tubs are not private, our neighbours were parking their cars at the side of ours!

Great location with easy road links north east South and west. Quite and definitely peaceful location. The accommodation is well maintained and has space for 6 without anyone feeling on top of each other the garden area is walled and has astro turf down so good for families and dogs . Definitely want to visit again Small notes to think about if you visit Missing BBQ and some kitchen utensils example oven gloves tea towels tinfoil etc But overall well equipped Did not use the hottube so cannot comment
