The setting is amazing . Lovely and quiet .
Allison
Beautiful cottage location stunning , very clean . Location lovely however far from any amenities, there is a hotel restaurant within walking distance just over 2 mile however very hilly when walking back . Andrew the owner helped us with a lift a number of times very kind of him. Nice hot tub & lovely warm property .
Great place to stay fantastic view lovely and quiet place with so lovely walks would recommend
We enjoyed our stay at the Stable, lovely and quiet!
Joanne
Gorgeous place. The mattresses are a little tired, other than that it was a beautiful place, well maintained and looked after. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We would thouroughly reccomend this place.
We enjoyed our stay at the Stable. The long driveway and countryside location was not a problem for us. Owners friendly and helpful There was a Welcome bottle of milk in the fridge some Welsh cakes would have been nice Enclosed garden for dogs and children with sun most of the day. Personal hot tub with lovely views. Kitchen equipment a bit on the minimum side for us, only one oven tray, and no spare containers to use in the microwave . Basic games room and outside play area. Garden has a new gas BBQ, cleaned every week and a set of boules to play. Overall a nice cottage
Kirsten
Mr Davies and his family are so welcoming, we loved being tucked away but with easy access to the coast, the hot tub was a great bonus. I recommend visiting New Quay and the original Dolphin Spotting trip, the Afon Mel honey farm did an amazing cream tea and Y Gornel in Aberystwyth is great for breakfast or lunch! We would stay again
Jennifer
We stayed in The Stable it was a Lovely cottage, great for us and the two boxer dogs! Walks directly out of the cottage which was great. The hot tub was a added bonus to relax and take in the views. We appreciate how close to sea the accommodation was, a 10 min drive, the views where Fantastic not just from the cottage but everywhere we went! The games room was brilliant, with a wood burner you could use and the kids especially enjoyed the table tennis! They also enjoyed the DVDs we could borrow in the evening. Hope to come back again with all of the family.
We are just back from The Stable and very happy with our little holiday. I booked the stable for 4 nights for myself my husband and two friends for a belated birthday celebration. There was plenty of parking, and the stable was warm and cosy. The garden is completely secure so our two dogs could play and zoomie to their hearts content. Beautiful scenery of rolling countryside which you can access from your back garden. We walked through the farm straight into a national trust walk with Cafe. We carried on and walked around Aberaeron and back which was seven miles round trip. The dogs slept for hours while we played table tennis and pool in the games room then enjoyed an hour in the hot tub. Perfect location and perfect hosting by Katy who is an absolute diamond. She is the one who makes your stay go smoothly with the help of Jamie who can fix and find anything. Great place to stay

Everything we needed for a relaxing break with our 2 dogs with secure garden. hot tub and lovely scenery
Bronte
Fantastic Views. Everything you need and more. Quiet area. So lovely to watch the sunset over the valley while enjoying the hottub. Will definitely be back!
The Stable is an absolute gem, the tranquility is second to none! The only sounds were the animals &children's laughter. The staff are so welcoming & helpful, nothing was too much to ask of them. It's ideally situated to explore the beautiful seaside towns of Aberaeron, New quay & the surrounding area etc. The Stable was spotless & the bedding too, the beds were comfortable & the games room is an added bonus for the unpredictable British weather. The hot tub was a huge hit with the children & this was maintained throughout our stay. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so unforgettable. Diolch
Andrew
A really enjoyable stay in a peaceful setting, the only drawback for us was the enclosed garden fence was low and sloped which one could not be seen on the photos and we couldnt let our two greyhounds loose within the enclosed area.
We have just come home from a wonderful family holiday in the Stable. We chose the Stable because of the fenced in garden for our twin toddler boys and our 2 dogs, we also loved the sound of the hot tub. It was perfect for us all. The garden was great, the boys loved riding their bikes up and down the slope, it was very safe and secure for our boys and dogs to have freedom to run and play. Inside the house was very tidy, it had everything we needed to make home cooked meals, comfortable beds, a lovely big bath and powerful shower. Other facilities Our boys are too young for the games room, however, it looked like fun for if we come back for future holidays, the washing machine and tumble dryer were a massive bonus, we came home with no washing to do, Happy Mummy! The boys loved the climbing frame and slide, it was perfect for them. The cottage is set in beautiful surroundings, after putting the boys to bed, my husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with stunning views of rolling Welsh hills. We made friends with the cows in the field outside, the boys loved running out to see them every morning, and watching them from the window as we ate. The owners of the cottage were very warm and welcoming, they had lots of information for great places to take the children. We loved Aberporth beach, there is 2 beaches in Aberporth, one which is dog friendly. New Quay was also beautiful, we enjoyed walking along the harbour, seeing all the boats, and enjoying a delicious ice cream. We loved the Moody Cow, with a brilliant indoor and outdoor play area for the children to burn off some steam, and a delicious farm shop. There was also a lovely looking restaurant, but we didnt have a chance to try it out. We had a fun afternoon in Borth. A beautiful little seaside town. We enjoyed fish and chips in the Sands cafe, then walked a 15 minute walk to a small place to enjoy feeding goats, seeing rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, pigs, tortoises and many more animals, with 2 fun climbing frames our boys loved! It was a really fun afternoon. The area is very quiet, safe and idyllic. We were sad our holiday has come to an end, could have happily stayed another week, we have come home and already looking at dates to rebook in the future.
Alison
What a wonderful little cottage. Stunning views from the hot tub, so nice and clean and very friendly owners. Would highly recommend. Didn't want to come home!
The cottage was lovely, very comfortable and the girls loved it. Owners were very friendly and a good location to explore different areas!
The property was lovely, kids were so happy. Everything was in working order and clean. The owner was the nicest and most helpful person and nothing was an inconvenience to him. We had everything we needed and more. We will be back.
I have visted here before and this time was just as lovely. all on site are so friendly and helpful and really make you feel at home, even when I didn't realise that I had turned the microwave off and couldn't work out why it didn't work ! Again, a fabullous restful time for me , and the dogs were so totally chilled out. Thoroughly recommended for dogs as the walks are perfect for them, and us.

We had a fantastic holiday at the The Stable, it was so peaceful the views were breathtaking and the wildlife was amazing. Katy and Jamie were lovely they let us get on with it but we knew they were there if needed. Clean comfortable accommodation with a lovely enclosed garden highly recommend a visit.Thank you Leanne Kevin and Hannah and Luna xxx
This cottage has been a pleasure to stay in, immaculately clean and tidy. Has absolutely everything you could need. Friendly people and beautiful location. I would highly recommend visiting.
We absolutely loved our stay at The Stable. The owners were so welcoming, kind and helpful even with our extremely late arrival. The accommodation was lovely and really nice quality. We spent hours in both the games room and hot tub. Both an amazing addition. The laundry room was very helpful if you have a football mad youngster with you who absolutely loved the goal and mini football pitch out the back. This accommodation really had so many added extras for us that it made it our best holiday to date. That coupled with the incredible local beauty, breath taking scenery and abundance of wildlife. We were in our element. Hope we can visit again soon.
Jacqueline
Could not have asked for more lovely location, fantastic views.
Everything was as expected. Owners very hospitable helpful and approachable.
I had stayed at the farmhouse 4 years ago with a large group, so this was a place i knew already. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, and made you feel at home. The cottage was just right, especially with dogs, and had eberything I needed.I did book my next break whilst there, so will be returning in May to the Stable. Highly recommended if you just need peace and quiet, but within easy reach of so many lovely places .
Excellent base for getting about. Owner very friendly and helpful. Lovely local walks from the cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed our week.
Belinda
A great place to stay, with absolutely breathtaking views. The owners have created a home from home with lots of facilities to take advantage of, such as the games room and pretty woodland walks on site. The Stable is well situated for exploring all that Wales has to offer, including the many wonderful beaches. We loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evening, which was the perfect way to unwind after a busy day of exploring. Our break was wonderful and we look forward to returning. Missing the scenery already.!
Tiffany
Excellent stay. Would highly recommend. Owners were on hand if needed but also gave you privacy. Great location. Washing machine was a bonus and dryer. Pool room could do with a bit of upkeep but the walks up to the animals and hot tub entertained us enough. Would likely go back
Norman
The best dog friendly cottage we have ever stayed at. A really secure garden so our 2 dogs could wander around whilst we relaxed in the hot tub. A field opposite to exercise the dogs. Loads of walks nearby and of course the sea and beaches. Cottage provided everything one could need. Cosy and warm. Lovely and peaceful with great views over the countryside. Will definitely be returning.
Great place and location, clean and fault free, we enjoyed our stay.
Was a lovely break for us plenty of space for the dog and little man will deffo come and stay again many thanks.
Beautiful cottage we loved every moment of our stay thank you
My family had a lovely week at these properties. We had 15 people and 6 dogs spread across the three cottages. We all loved the views from the fields of the surrounding area, the woodland walks directly from the doorstep. Andy, the owner, is onsite if you need anything and ensures any needs are met, such a friendly bloke! I would definitely recommend these properties and hope to go again with my family.
Sylvia
The cottage was very clean and spacious, lovely place to stay and the owners were very friendly.
Andy the owner was onsite to greet us and show us the cottage along with some great local advice and he made us feel very welcome. The cottage was amazing with the most beautiful views and everything that you could possibly need Perfectly located for lovely days out and then to return to the relaxing hot tub and garden was just perfect . We have stayed in many cottages over the years and I must say that this was one of the best. Thanks so much cant wait to return
Jessica
A beautiful location, welcoming hosts and a fabulous holiday. We have just come back from a lovely week away with walks on the doorstep. Its the most dog friendly holiday we have been on which made it so much better. The hot tub and garden were amazing for the kids and the dog. The cottage has all the basics but bring anything else such as oil, salt, pepper which you may not have thought of like us. I found the bed very comfortable. We had one technical issue which was fixed straight away when we text the owners. We loved the games room and the selection of books and DVDs, it felt like we were going to Blockbusters every night. Thank you!
Lovely property and a beautiful location, only downside would be the sofa is very worn and could probably do with being replaced and the mattress too soft! ! Lovely host and great for walks with the dog and the hot tub was a bonus and very welcoming after long walks
Ishmerai
The property was very nice, pretty much exactly as advertised, with maybe a couple exceptions not being anything to do with the aesthetic of the property the kitchen could have done with a couple more basic essentials, instructions say bring tea towels which we brought along with couple of additions for making our own food but then had to go shopping for tin foilsaltpepper and oven gloves. This wasnt a massive issue as we were going into a nearby town next day for a walk. We also had to buy toilet roll as there was only half a roll in the bathroom not really enough for a couple over a long weekend at least one more would have been ideal. On the plus side, they had said that towels for the hot tub were not provided but we had two towels each which was nice even though we had brought our own. There could have been a little more contact with our hosts, though I guess as were on holiday they just wanna stay out of our way?. We werent greeted on arrival but we did get there for about 7pm so thats understandable. Though a hello the next morning wouldnt have gone amiss. Especially since there was a power cut and we had no idea who to go see about it and knocked on a couple of other doors before finding where the hosts lived. The power cut happened about 930, as we couldnt find our hosts we went about our day hoping power would come back on in the day and the stuff in the fridgefreezer would be safe this wasnt the case so when we returned about 56pm I went looking for them. If there hadnt have been a power cut this wouldnt have been an issue but we did feel someone could have knocked our door or left a note or some kind of communication. As far as facilities go everything else was on point except for the fact that the internet wasnt very fast again not really an issue as there was a cornucopia of dvds in the games room across from the cottage again a note about this would have meant wed have prepared by downloading things before arrival for our evening entertainment. Theres only so much hot tubbing one can do of an evening
