Lovely cottage. Quiet and cosy with very friendly and helpful hosts

Lovely property, friendly and helpful owners. We had a very enjoyable stay thank you! Minor points the track is pretty rough after a challenging winter we didn't always find the heating adequate during a cold week, though the stove made for very cosy evenings, and there was a fan heater to use the WiFi was very weak and constantly dropped the connection to our mobiles although the smart TV was mostly fine. The owners are aware of these issues, and I'm sure they will be addressing them. This is a lovely place to stay.

The Lodge Barn Farm was exactly what we wanted quiet, lovely hiking trails, a cosy wood burner, and with all the amenities you could need, including a pods coffee machine lifesaver. John was a brilliant host who even came and rescued us when we had walked until dark and couldn't get an Uber back on New Year's Eve. Definitely would recommend.

Very nice, clean, spacious cottage, ensuite bathrooms are a plus, as well as the washing machine when you travel for a while. Kitchen is well equipped. Great location, so close to so many attractions. Louisa welcomed us at our arrival there was a nice welcome package of cake and milk. The only FYI would be a bigger bed and the living room long sofa is not really comfortable. All in all it was a great stay in such a peaceful quiet environment which helped forgetting all the miseries of the world these days.

We met up with old friends at the barn. It is perfect for two couples each with their own ensuite and even an extra loo downstairs. The barn is very comfortable and well equipped in a very quiet setting. It's a wonderful base for exploring the area or just staying in and doing a jigsaw. Highly recommended, we will be returning

Really lovely barn! Having a fire in the lounge was great for the chilly evenings. Had everything you could need. The WiFi was a bit temperamental but maybe thats a good thing! Louise and John were very friendly and welcoming. We also loved the cats! So sweet.

Very nice and peaceful location. Water supply a little erratic, but manageable. WiFi also erratic, just need to have patience. No mobile telephone signal in the barn, if that's important to you. It's a perfect base to explore Herefordshire and surrounding areas. Louisa and John are excellent hosts. If you need them they're there, otherwise you can go your own way.

Very nice barn conversion in a lovely secluded setting. The twin bedroom and en suite are quite small, perhaps better suited to a children's room. The bed linen was lovely, as were the thick fluffy towels. The water pressure was variable, presumably the drawbacks of country life.

It was a little difficult to find the track which led up to the Barn. We later found the stone which had the name engraved on it by the entrance. Everything else was good. A superb week.

We have stayed at Lodge Farm Barn three times now over the past year and always have an enjoyable & comfortable stay in a great location. We will no doubt be staying here again in the near future too.

Everything about the property was fine but on the last night a Lodge Farm Barn van was parked in the Farm yard and connected to the mains to keep it's refrigeration unit running. As a result the refrigeration unit would start running loudly for about 10 minutes about every 30 minutes ALL NIGHT! I didn't get any sleep that night and left the property feeling pretty angry. I appreciate this is a working farm but people go to this type of location for peace and quiet and definitely don't want sleepless nights due to this sort of noise.

The Lodge Farm Barn is in the most beautiful, peaceful location was really lovely to spend time in the garden, which has a spacious patio and a living willow arbour our 6 year old son also loved petting the owners' friendly dogs through the gate! . We found the barn very well located for Ross on Wye, Symonds Yat, Hereford, Chepstow, Tintern Abbey, Brecon Mountain Railway etc. The barn itself is spacious with two good size bedrooms and ensuite shower rooms. There are dining tables in the living room and also the kitchen, which is convenient, and there is a door from the kitchen onto the patio which is also helpful. The owners were helpful and friendly would recommend.

The cottage exceeded our expectations because it was in such a peaceful location. We sat outside and listened to bees in the lavender, red kites and wind in the forest trees. Beautiful..

We had a fabulous week here, the weather was brilliant so we enjoyed the outside space, eating reading relaxing ect. We visited lots of places Cheltnam, Monmouth, Symonds Yat east, Hay, Ross plus many more. It didn't bother me to much but if you need your mobile then no service and the Internet very slow, I could not connect with my iPad only my phone, if you want a relaxing time and no traffic noise in loverly peaceful surroundings then I can thoroughly recommend the Barn.

We had a very relaxing week, enjoying the tranquility of the setting.
