The Hay Loft, Craven Arms

If anyone wants a few days of bliss peace and quiet this is the place to go. I had the best 3 days in the hay loft and really loved it. There were so many places to visit as well, like ludlow which I went around for a whole day christmas shopping and going around there christmas market. They also have stunning castles around this area. Beautiful walks and amazing views. The hay loft is so close to Wales too if people are going to visit they can do so. The hosts were amazing I got a bottle of processo and it was so lovely after a long drive. I got in the hot tub multiple times and really loved the zen vibes. The only tiny thing that I would add to take it two 9.5 out of 10 is to give quests a few tea bags after a long journey it would give it a little touch that would be lovely . But apart from that this place is amazing if you want a luxurious weekend or week away this is the place. Specially at Christmas as it was so magical. Thank you so much for hosting. I had the most wonderful stay I will be back in the summer as there's so much more to explore. Im going to miss that hot tub

Really cozy place to stay and relax after a long day exploring the local area. Beautifully decorated, spacious and peaceful. The hot tub is a great addition, especially after a long hike. Owners are lovely and welcoming and the sheep and cats are adorable and friendly. Highly recommend a stay here.

A great place to stay. Comfortable and relaxing. The bed was fantastic and a great nights sleep had every day. The Hot Tub is always a bonus and great views over the fields, bat watching at night whilst relaxing in bubbles is a must. Wonderful hosts and a definite must go back for more in the future. If you like walking and exploring, try the The Hay Loft. Great local cafes and pubs too. The Kangaroo pub in Aston on Clun does a brilliant home cooked Sunday lunch cooked by the landlady and very friendly locals. All in all an excellent break.....

Beautiful peaceful location, an ideal place to explore Shropshire. Thank you to Linda who gave us some great recommendations of Powis Castle and Long Mynd. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, getting to relax in the hot tub after some long walks. Highly recommend the Hayloft and its welcoming host.

We loved this cottage it had everything you need for self catering and it was spotless. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. We had a warm welcome from the owner Linda who told us some information about what to do and see which was helpful. The hot tub was nice to come back too after a day out walking. Highly recommended this place just stunning.

A beautiful, picturesque getaway! The cottage had a homely touch and you can tell a lot of thought has been put into it. The kitchen had everything we need to cook a full meal and we loved having a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. Sitting on the little balcony on a clear night watching all the stars was so peaceful. Thank you so much and we cant wait to come back next year!

Absolutely amazing. Its so much more lovely than the pics! Came home and booked next door Meadow Barn the same day for next month. Cant wait to go back! Had such a relaxing stay, had everything we needed and Linda was lovely.

The Hay loft is excellently appointed to a very high standard, tastefully furnished and in a beautiful, peaceful location. We really loved our stay. The views from the balcony are fantastic and very restful. The patio is a suntrap and the hot tub just the icing on the cake.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hayloft! ! The property was beautifully maintained...spotlessly clean and well appointed. It was exactly what we were seeking. Beautifully quiet and peaceful. Loved waking up to nothing but bird song and sheep bleating in the fields next door. I know the landlord can't take credit for the weather, but it was gloriously sunny didn't see a drop of rain our entire visit and we came back to Canada with suntans! The hot tub was a welcome extra, and a perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. The star gazing was beautiful. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! A wonderful barn conversion set within wonderful views overlooking endless fields of beaming nature. The Hayloft itself was immaculately presented and perfect for a weekends stay. After a few miles walking over the Long Mynd, only 20mins away, the hot tub was a warm welcome to relax for the evening before retiring to the cosy barn. Id definitely recommend the Hayloft to anyone and Im wishing to return for sure one day.

We had a lovely stay at Hayloft over Christmas for 4 nights. Linda is a lovely host & welcomed us on arrival. Hayloft had lots of lovely touches & was lovely & Christmassy & very cosy so felt like home. The hot tub was amazing & surroundings was so peaceful. Lovely views & lots of walks not far away. Thanks Linda for the wine & goodies you left for us & for making it feel like home.

Lovely weekend stay. Supa quiet rural location couple of miles from Craven Arms. Newmodern hot tub that can actually be set to hot 40..what a joy!! Excellent communication from the host and accommodation as per description...5 star...

We had a great stay at the Hay Loft, its the second time we've been. Really comfortable with great views and centrally located to get to other places.

The Hayloft was a really lovely place to stay for a short break. We had all the essentials needed to make it home from home. There were a few very small details I think would make it an even better stay. The property could do with a radio or music system of some sort, it would of been nice to have some hooks in the bathroom for hanging either the towels or robes, I know there were two on the back of the bedroom door but could do with some in the bathroom. The mattress was very springy, one person moved in the bed and you both moved, for me the mattress could be a little firmer and maybe memory foam, but again this is a personal preference. Overall the Hayloft was a lovely little place to stay, the hot tub was perfect and the backdrop to the garden was beautiful.

The most enjoyable cottage stay,peace and quiet was just what we needed and what we got everything about the property was first class, hot tub was a bonus and watching the red kites each day was another, will definitly be back again so thank you for an enjoyable few days .

Beautiful stay in a beautiful part of the country. Host was warm and welcoming. All we could have wished for, except for a cover over the hot tub and a pub within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

The HayLoft is a beautiful hidden gem! So glad we found this last minute. The Juliet balcony was lovely to sit on all wrapped up whilst having a drink watching the sun go down. The hot tub was a bonus best one we have been in. You're left dressing gowns for the hot tub too which is great for these winter months The hayloft is well equipped however as stated it is a self catering cottage like most are so expect to have to bring stuff such as coffee, sugar, foil, cooking oil etc. Linda let us know the day before depature that the next guests were arriving the day after so we did not have to rush to leave which was nice of her. She really is a fab host! Overall we had the most amazing stay and will definitely be back! If you're looking for somewhere to eat try razas Indian take away we loved it! And the kangaroo inn pub just 28 minute walk away very cosy. Craven arms town is a 6minute drive. Plenty of walks to do without having a car plenty of walks to do with a car.

I am so happy I found the Hayloft online when booking a short UK trip away. A beautiful little barn conversion in the heart of Shropshire. Cosy, comfortable and very homely. The hot tub was an extra bonus to top it all off. Linda was on hand if we needed anything. Thank you again, I hope to visit again in the future

Absolutely lovely place to stay, definitely recommend, perfect for a few days. Bed and sofas were very comfy, shower was good, kitchen near enough had what you needed. Hot tub was lovely, views are amazing and its very quiet and peaceful. Only criticisms I have are there were a few cobwebs and bugs in corners of rooms and stairs when we arrived, no hand soap provided in the bathroom or kitchen which Ive never seen before and no pepper or oil provided for cooking. Apart from these minor setbacks, its a great place to stay!

Fantastic little gem of a Cottage, one of the best we have stayed in! Linda was a perfect host, always available if we needed her and nothing was too much trouble! Hot Tub was an added bonus with lovely views cross Shropshire! Wouldnt hesitate to recommend and will absolutely be returning at some point in the future.
