About The Cowshed

The Cowshed is a detached single-storey barn conversion with open beamed ceilings in the village of Horsley, Northumberland. This ground floor barn sits in the scenic Tyne Valley, surrounded by working farmland and positioned perfectly between Corbridge and Newcastle upon Tyne. Inside you'll find an open plan living space with a woodburning stove, eclectic furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen with induction range cooker. The space features original barn character throughout.

The barn overlooks Northumberland farmland with countryside views. Hadrian's Wall path runs just one mile north. You're close to medieval Horsley Wood and connected footpaths across the fields.

Two bedrooms sleep four guests. The king-size double has an en-suite walk-in deluge shower. The twin bedroom converts to a super king on request. A separate bathroom has a bath with shower over. Oil underfloor heating keeps the barn warm year-round.
