I don't want to say what a fantastic cottage this is at Rocklands Farm, nor how peaceful and tranquil it is. I dont want to to say how effervescent Marianne is with her charming smile, her intimate knowledge of the area and her super strong hugs when she welcomes you. Would we go again. No. Course we shall. I just don't want too many folk understanding what a fabulous haven this is so we can't book it again because it's booked up. And it will be. Thank you Marianne

Fabulous ..greeted by owner, friendly and helpful, Marianne . The whole apartment, is fabulous, spotless, super king bed for us comfy, out like a light every night, everything in is top quality. Everything you would need for self catering, also loads of information leaflets in the apartment for days out, walks, cycling, car ... Marianne was an encyclopedia of information regarding places to eat and visit as well. Gorgeous horses live there too. Definitely going back. Home from home .

We had a fantastic few days at Rocklands Farm Cottage. Marianne was amazing and went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Before we arrived she responded helpfully to our requests and gave clear directions for finding the location and checking in. She was kind enough to provide a lighter duvet for us as it was warmer than we thought it would be, and had tea, snacks and milk in the fridge for us which was just lovely. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and we had everything we needed and more. It felt like home away from home. We had an incredible time exploring the local area and going on beautiful walks. The cottage is a stones throw from the River Wye and Coppett Hill and a short drive to Symonds Yat and Goodrich Castle. We saw deer in the fields, Peregrin falcons on Symonds Yat and Kingfishers on the river. It was the perfect spot to getaway and be immersed in nature and beauty.

First time using Sykes and would certainly use them again. The welcome we received from Marianne was exceptional. The cottage was perfect for the two of us especially the garden room. Situated in beautiful countryside. We couldnt have asked for more.

An absolute gem. The cottage was in pristine condition and equipped with everything we could need. The spacious courtyard garden was the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or a coffee in the morning. Marianne was a perfect host and always on hand if we had any queries or needed advice on where to visit. Rocklands farm is in a delightful setting and the horses made it even more special. The highlight of our stay was watching deer come down into its fields at sunset each evening. There are some lovely walks nearby directly accessible from the farm. We loved going down to Symonds Yat beside the river. The Cross Keys at Goodrich serves excellent food and is a pleasant 15 minutes walk across fields. We so loved our stay and would highly recommend this property.
What a fabulous place to stay. The accommodation was superb and it's the best night's sleep we have had for a long while. The host was really lovely and couldn't do enough for you. I will truly miss helping with the horses. What a wonderful end to our holiday. Keep up the good work. Look forward to coming again. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Rocklands farm. The owner made us very welcome and gave us freedom to enjoy the garden and garden room in addition to the comfortable, warm accommodation. The working equestrian farm provided a quiet relaxing environment with easy walks from the farm. It was also well placed to visit surrounding towns and wonderful local Inns. We would unreservedly recommend Docklands Farm to anyone who loves quiet comfort and countryside coupled with a delightful owner who was readily available if any assistance was required.

Arrived to a lovely clean & well equipped cottage. Our host Marieanne was very friendly & helpful. Thank you for the welcome pack full of goodies. Beautiful area, plenty of places to visit.
On arrival we were met by our host Marriane and from this point and throughout our stay was friendly and extremely helpful in providing information or recommendations for our stay, without being intrusive. The accommodation was spotless, a generous 'welcome' was provided and the beds and pillows extremely comfortable. The surrounding countryside is beautiful as are the horsesponies and cats on site. Highly recommended.

The cottage has wonderful views of the surrounding Wye Valley and makes an excellent base for exploration. A very comfortable holiday cottage with a garden of its own, also well equipped! It felt like a home from home with a warm welcome from the owners. We were sad to leave and hope to return.

A great stay in a fantastic location. Marianne was an excellent host for whom nothing was to much trouble including providing a cooling fan when it got rather warm. What could be better than at dusk every evening sitting in the fields watching fox cubs play and the deer wander past. Thank you for a very enjoyable week and you never know we may be back

We had a great 3 days at Rocklands Farm. Marianne was very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is comfortable and clean with a wellequipped kitchen and a great huge bed. The Garden Room and Courtyard are also available for use by guests. The farm is in a peaceful spot and there is little or no noise. There is lots of great walking in the area, including footpaths leading from the Farm itself and we didn't actually need to use the car during our stay. Footpaths lead to the nearest pub, Cross Keys, but are rather overgrown. The effort is worth it as the food was excellent. Goodrich Castle is within walking distance, as is the River Wye and Symonds Yat.
Marianne couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful with her local knowledge. Beautiful little cottage, everything you need and perfect location for exploring.
