The Coach House Reviews

Gordon
Excellent accommodation. Spotlessly clean.very comfortable . Lovely and fully equipped kitchen. Large sitting area upstairs with log fire but no need as there is full central heating. Only a few miles from Bamburgh and within reach of other tourist spots in the area. No hesitation in recommending.
Superb accommodation in a beautiful part of the country. From detailed travelling and key collecting instructions, to the complimentary goodies supplied by mine host, a most enjoyable stay. Even the rain stayed away! Highly recommended.
Robert
We stay in a number of holiday properties each year, making our selection from the most highly rated. The Coach House is the best yet. Thank you.
We absolutely loved the Coach House. It has a high end finish throughout and just felt cosy from the moment we arrived. It's in a great location to visit lots of lovely places and I would love to go back.
The Coach House is a stunning property beautifully decorated inside with lots of homely touches ! It was so comfortable , cosy and well maintained also very easy to access from A1 and, although in the countryside , was close to Banburgh and the coastal villages . Would def recommend for couple family !
Lovely cosy cottage set in a beautiful area. Access good to all main roads and local attractions.
Exceptional cottage to stay in everything is of high standard and cleanliness the pictures are totally accurate the only downside was the farm and track beside and behind it. Farm track access had very large potholes a smaller car would struggle to manage it and as end of harvest the driers in the barns ran all day and tractors and trailers went backwards and forwards almost 24 hourly very noisy. We do live in the country ourselves but this was extreme. Also property not suitable for disabled people in wheelchairs as steps down to property and lounge upstairs too I'm disabled but managed with my crutch x I'm saying these points for info we did have a lovely stay.
Michael
A really beautiful cottage in a stunning part of the UK. Everything you could wish for in a 'home from home', including an impressive 'welcome' pack. Anne, the owner, communicated with us, before the stay, and on the day of arrival, which was extremely helpful and is always reassuring.
Angela
We had a lovely stay at The Coach House. The cottage was very comfortable, clean and peaceful. It was in an ideal location to explore the surrounding area. The cottage contained everything you may need and it was decorated to a high standard.
Home from home with everything you needed. Bright and airy, comfy beds and quiet location. Loved the welcome pack. Whole cottage spotless. Very relaxing.
Andrew
The Coach House is a high standard cottage which is very well equipped. It is a good centre for exploring the Northumberland coast and close enough to the A1 to be reached easily. You have a choice of relaxing in the kitchen diner downstairs or in the TV lounge upstairs We would definitely recommend it to our friends if they were looking for accommodation in this area.
Russell
Completely fantastic, really enjoyed our home from home stay. First class accommodation thank you
Tracey
Such a gorgeous, immaculate, cosy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The beds were soooo comfortable and the shower in the main bathroom was superb. Situated near Budle Bay and so convenient for Holy Island, Bamburgh and other places along this wonderful coastline. The owners Ian and Anne provided a very generous welcome pack and comprehensive information about the cottage and local area. They were excellent at communicating with us when we had a power outage on New Year's Eve due to the inclement weather even though they were attending a wedding they took the time to contact us. They were also very accommodatingflexible with arrival and departure times. I can definitely recommend this cottage without any reservations. Thank you so much. We had a wonderful time.
A beautiful cottage in a great location. A real home from home. A well equipped kitchen, games to play in the lounge. We had a lovely time, thank you. We had amazing food at The Lord Crewe in Bamburgh and a great burger at The Pack Horse, Ellingham, thankyou for the suggestions. Two very different eating places but both served lovely food and friendly service.
This is truly an amazing holiday let! So comfortable, clean, warm and well equipped. I have nothing negative to say at all! We enjoyed our holiday very much and would most definitely recommend the let which is ideally placed for accessing all the attractions that the Northumberland coastal area has to offer.
The Coach House is an absolute delight. Lovely and spacious, but also has a cosy feel. It's well equipped through out. Well located to get other places. Would highly recommend if you wish to visit the Bamburgh area!
Patricia

Lesley
Excellent property, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. A few minor issues which did not detract from our experience were communicated at the end of our stay via the feedback forms provided, and the owner acknowledged receipt of these shortly after we had left.
