We picked Merddwr for our yearly group holiday with friends, ten adults, and had a lovely time. Catrin and Guto were excellent hosts, and the property itself is fantastic with plenty of space to spread out, cook, play games etc. Easy access to the beautiful countryside, pretty much everything we wanted to get to was within half an hour's drive. Hot tub after hiking up the hills very much enjoyed, even in a heatwave!

It had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break, from a wellequipped kitchen to cosy living spaces. The cottage was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt like a real home away from home. The hosts were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was just perfect. The location was ideal perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area while still being peaceful and quiet. We especially appreciated how convenient it was for attractions such as fishing, zip world, Mach loop, cycling, white water rafting, walks, and nearby amenities. We wouldnt hesitate to return and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with the choice of activities, if desired, not too far away.

What an amazing house and exceptional hosts. Finished off to a very high standard, gorgeous welcome pack left for us and nothing is too much trouble for these lovely hosts. We had both houses for our week stay and the space, the comfort and the cleanliness was amazing! We will certainly go back. Even though the house is quite remote which we love and quiet and has amazing views, getting about and seeing the surrounding areas was really easy.

Top quality accommodation. All the fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard. We travel as a large group regularly. Merddwr is without doubt the best home we have rented. The owners live on site and are very friendly and quick to respond. The little things also impressed. The welcome home baked cake, the bread, the Welsh Cakes and the very large fresh farm eggs were very welcome. Enough detergents for the washer and dish washer to last all week was great and very rare in my experience. If you are thinking of staying here, do not hesitate it is Marvellous.

We had a lovely stay , the accommodation was just perfect for us and the owners were very helpful throughout the stay and very thoughtful as gave my mum a lovely card and gift on her birthday. . The downstairs bedroom was great for my dad with limited mobility. The hot tub was a nice touch and was well used by our party as was the games room too. We will definitely be back .

Incredible! ! We had a fantastic stay here for a small business retreat. The property was exactly as described, clean, wellmaintained, and perfect for our group of five, especially with each bedroom having its own ensuite. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, greeting us on arrival and staying in touch throughout to make sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. It really couldn't have been a better experience. Highly recommend.

As a travel professional, Ive stayed in many beautiful properties, both in and out of the UK but this one truly stands out. I stayed 3 nights with a group of my friends and family and we were impressed from the moment we arrived. The house is very, very spacious, immaculately presented, and finished to a high standard, with thoughtful touches throughout. The hosts were very attentive, and provided exceptional support from booking through to departure. A stunning property that I would confidently recommend to my own clients. A group of 14 girls stayed at this beautiful house! As soon as we arrived we were blown away. We were met by the owners who were friendly and welcoming and it helped that they lived nearby for any support. The support started as soon as we booked and continued even afterwards when some of the guests left belongings. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch and we enjoyed the cake so much we took a photo of the ingredients. The house was spacious and had everything we needed, the beds were comfy, the attention to detail and added touches in the house were amazing and the hot tub added to an already beautiful house! We had the most fantastic stay at Merddwr! ! 3 generations of our family came to holiday together between the ages of 3 65 yrs and each thoroughly enjoyed. The house is so spacious, everything has been done to a high standard, the pictures do not do the house justice at all. The accommodation is wonderfully equipped and all areas of the home very well thought out and utilised. The outdoor space was lovely to relax in and as we stayed at the beginning of Spring the lambs and daffodils were a lovely sight, and the evening around the fire pit cwtched up with the blankets was just as lovely! The hosts Catrin and Guto are very friendly people, and nothing is too much trouble. Catrin even made us a delicious homemade cake which was enjoyed!! The bedrooms were all very comfortable, our children especially loved the game area and the hot tub, and the ample area for dining made family meals a doddle. We hope to come back for another visit sometime. Thank you for all of the memories made in your beautiful holiday home.

I booked this cottage for a family weekend stay for a surpise 30th. The cottage was absolutely amazing! Everyone absolutely loved it!! Its very spacious, big rooms, beautiful decor, has everything you could possibly need for cookingeatingdrinking. The welcome package was so thoughtful, the eggs were amazing!! Definitely would recommend and definitely would stay again! Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, they were so lovely and made sure everything was perfect for us. We all had the best weekend and non of us had a bad word to say about the property.
