Hayloft Reviews

Adalma
We really loved the property. The decor is fabulous. Everything has been thought about. So many glasses, plates, cutlery and cookware available to use which is unusual for this sort of place we have stayed in many places where they have one of everything per person and maybe two pans. It was amazing to see soap and cleaning products provided as that is something you usually have to buy yourself. The heated flooring was incredible and the whole house was always so cosy! Hot tub was big enough for a good amount of us to go in together. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating. It really felt like a home straight away and none of us wanted to leave! Have already booked to come back. Would really recommend.

A group of 10 of us stayed here as a birthday treat and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The owner Rav answered any questions quickly and helped with anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
Andrew
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we think it is an excellent property. There was plenty of clearly marked parking and the facilities in the kitchen combined with the underfloor heating were excellent. Rav, the property manager was easy to contact and responses were always detailed and prompt. Our main quibble was about privacy. Blinds downstairs could do with renewing especially in the downstairs bedroom and we think that the hot tub did not give us enough privacy from the adjoining garden or from the parking at the bottom of the garden.
Great stay would definitely book again!
Overall a satisfactory stay. The property is quite noisy because of the water pressure pump which can be heard day and night. Door handles were loose. Some rear patio flags were loose. Three extractor fan light bulbs werent working. Front door needs replacing. These minor maintenance issues let the property down. There was aloo a potentially larger problem with shower drainage in the downstairs bedroom. The caretaker responded quickly and politely to queries.
In need of TLC! There was ants everywhere when we arrived. They were on the kitchen work surfaces and floor. Later on when sitting on the sofa there was ants there too. Not ideal but some ant cleaner on hand would have helped to keep the pests at bay. The kettle was in need of a good descaling and some of the plates and cutlery needing cleaning before use. There was a couple plates that have chips in them...maybe replace them or throw them away. There was plenty plates and glassware for everyone to use. In the downstairs bedroom the shower dripped for some time after use. Whenever the water was running, there was a loud noise coming from, the pump, the noise came on frequently and it was difficult to sleep as the noise could be heard in all of the bedrooms. This noise come on throughout the day and was rather loud and irritating. There was holes in the walls from where previous people had stayed and the doors have swung open...maybe invest in some door stoppers. Whole place could do with a lick of paint. Living room furniture, and bedroom furniture, was different to what is in the images...listing needs updating. Outside at the back of the property there was workers there each day, so privacy was limited. Maybe put up a fence or some screening or even move the hot tub so that you would feel some privacy. The back garden had a toy and some half eaten pastry left on the floor. There was also post letters addressed to the property all over the garden. We were allowed in 45minutes earlier than expected which was kind. The property was a 1520 minute drive from some lovely parks with enjoyable walks for the dog. Overall an okay stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights for my boyfriends 22nd birthday, there was 11 of us in total. As this occasion was a surprise, a couple of friends checked in slightly earlier to set up decorations and pack the food away. Rav, the owner was very accommodating and communications were great! Rav sent the key collection details across straight away. We loved the location of the house and the style of the house. The house was very clean and modern with an open plan living room and huge sofa. The TV in the front room had netflix and youtube which was very useful. We loved the decor and the camera wall! The hot tub was lovely, however on the first night the water had dropped below the jets so on Saturday morning the water was 22 degrees. I messaged Rav and within the hour he got back to me and sent someone out on the afternoon to fix the hot tub. By the time we all had some food and played games, we were able to go in the hot tub and it was a lovely 40 degrees! The location was great, we got 3 ubers to Lincoln centre and went to a few pubs and bars. This was by far one of the best nights! There was also a variety of takeaway restaurants that you could order from, which was ideal! The only downfalls we could think of was that there was nothing on the booking description to say that there was a curfew of 2200 for music and use of the hot tub. On the day of arrival, i received a text about the rules and i was very surprised to see that there was curfews considering i read through the booking description and nothing was mentioned about curfews. The only other downfall was that there was no spare toilet rolls and no first aid kit. Apart from this, we had an amazing weekend and we would definitely recommend! Thanks Rav x
We stayed at Hayloft over the Christmas period with a big family group. The cottage was so nice and the photos really dont do it justice. The owner, Rav, was brilliant he made sure there was a Christmas tree already up, wood for the fireplace and the hot tub was warm and read for when we arrived. The area is quite rural but that was perfect for a quiet getaway with family. We had 3 children with us ranging from 24 years old and the cottage was childproof as much as could be expected. The underfloor heating was a delight. The kitchen facilities were great as well, majority of utensils were available and the dining table could seat all 11 of us and could even squeeze a couple more on if required. We had a great stay, making those core memories for our children and I would highly recommend this cottage!!
Lesley
Fantastic property with great facilities where we spent a relaxing 3 day family break. Only a few very minor points, there were not enough baking dishes, there was not a lot of hanging space for clothes and personally I feel lamps in the bedrooms would be welcome just a personal choice for me though. Normally baking dishes wouldnt be an issue at all and was only a concern for us as we cooked a roast dinner for 10. My sister and I shared the smallest bedroom which was adequate for a 3 night stay and there were hooks on the wall where we could hang a couple of items however would have been better if wed taken hangers! Great hanging rail in one family room so would maybe benefit from the same in second family room. Again bedside lamps not a major issue just I prefer to read and nuisance getting out of bed to switch main light off

Amazing place! Couldnt recommend more for the price. Big thanks to Rav
Muhammad
Best little trip we have ever been on. Lovely place to stay. Highly recommended
Brilliant stay and highly recommend. We rented both cottages together to accommodate us all since were a big family which made it even a nicer stay. Rav is very helpful and responsive in case you need anything. Well go for sure
Only issue we had was the small beds in the room for 4, I wouldnt say they were standard adult size beds and shouldnt be advertised as if they are. The smaller bed in the downstairs room isnt a bed at all, it looked to be a large foot stool it wasnt comfy at all. Other than that, fab property and facilities. Rav was on hand for anything we needed.
