Absolutely amazing property! You will 100 not regret booking here! Cottage and garden are stunning, well maintained and very well kept. The peace was unbelievable and wildlife was amazing. Dogs absolutely loved their stay and thoroughly enjoyed the garden! Thank you for having us!

We had a lovely stay here. Harvey's House is a haven of peace and tranquillity. It is set in woodland with the sound of a rushing stream in the background. Inside the house is spacious and the decor is immaculate so much thought and effort has gone into the design and every last detail has been thought of. Each room is a pleasure to walk in and perfectly fitted out. Even pets get a look in with poo bags, treats, bowl and a bed provided. The bed was the most comfortable that we have slept in but no starry vistas as the weather left a lot to be desired. The owners, Jenna and Nigel, were so welcoming and always available for help if necessary. Outside is a spacious garden with assorted trees and shrubs which was a pleasure to walk round. I could go on but others have said it all. Thank you Jenna and Nigel. It was a privilege to stay here.

Fantastic stay at HH. We had a long journey and some fun even with directions arriving at the location. We were very happy and excited when we did! Very well presented and blessed by the good weather. It is impossible not to relax the moment you arrive! Every possible additional touch to maximise comfort has been considered with many thoughtful additions around the property, to make it welcoming and a home from home experience. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful, but not too far from must see locations. Highly recommend!

It was a perfect week away. Everything was so clean and the hosts were welcoming. A perfect location and escape from the world. We had everything we needed and we couldn't fault anything. such a lovely place. we would love to go back one day.

Harvey's House is just charming. It has everything you need and more. Found in a woodland setting with a stream running down the side of the garden, which can be heard from the amazing hot tub. So relaxing. You're guaranteed a good night's sleep on the most comfortable beds with skylights above that you could view the stars through weather permitting. DON'T follow sat nav up Bal Rd but carry on up the hill to the left and you'll see a sign to the house on the right,its just after a stream on Google maps,turn right down a track then right again onto a private drive then through a wooden gate to the property. Jenna and Nigel will make you feel very welcome. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It's in a great location for visiting the delights of southern Cornwall, from the gorgeous white,sandy beaches,quaint seaside towns, and I highly recommend a visit to Geevors Tin mine. Thank you for the cream tea left for us. It was very nice!

We had the most wonderful stay at Harveys House and honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived it was clear the owners have thought of absolutely everything. The house is beautifully furnished, so cosy and welcoming, and full of thoughtful little touches that made it feel really special. The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive, and everything was so well organised and easy from start to finish. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the setting is just breathtaking. Having the river and the viaduct right at the bottom of the garden felt like something out of a postcard, its such a peaceful, unique spot and the perfect place to properly switch off. Harveys House is the perfect getaway and were already talking about coming back. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay.

From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The booking process was straightforward, the property itself was unique, beautiful, cosy and full of character, and the support from the couple, throughout, was genuinely helpful and reassuring. Any questions were dealt with promptly and professionally, and everything felt well organised without being impersonal. It made the whole trip feel relaxed and special rather than transactional. Its absolutely necessary to get your shopping done before arrival, as the rds are very narrow and steep. A really positive experience all round I would absolutely recommend them and would happily book again. PS. when you get off the roundabout on to bal rd. Google maps will prompt take a right DONT DO IT! Carry on straight and you will see a tree with arrows directing you to the property. You will see a large gate just open it and go through, dont take the right in to someone elses house. We made the above two mistakes and it wasnt nice. Very narrow rds, muddy, very steep and was a struggle to get out of.

Property is lovely, unfortunately it was too cold and inclement weather for for us to try the hot tub. Surrounds were lovely and peaceful and landlord very helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic cottage, tucked away in the middle of a small wood with its own stream at the bottom of the fully enclosed gardenperfectly safe for our little dog to run around. The cottage itself was very comfortable, well equipped, and full of charm, with quirky, eclectic touches thanks to the thoughtful use of upcycled and repurposed furniture and fittings. We especially loved the spacious main bedroom and interesting cloakroom. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch, and Nigel and Jenna were incredibly friendly and accommodatingnothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended!

Harveys House is a beautiful cottage from the moment you walk in it smells amazing. There were so many extra touches and the decor is stunning. We loved to watch the birds in the garden and listen to the owl at night, it was so peaceful and tranquil. The owners are so friendly, thoughtful and welcoming. You are centrally located with lots of places to visit. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

The cottage is stunning, a real treat. It's in a perfect location tucked away, and the garden is fabulous for all ages and paws to relax and play in. It was a great base for exploring the wonders of Cornwall. We found it very homely. Comfy beds and lovely dcor and additions around house made it feel really homely and welcoming. The property had everything we needed as a family to cook, relax and spend quality time together. The hot tub was a perfect addition, well utilised especially after a long day of walking and exploring. Jenna and Nige were fantastic hosts, super friendly, always on hand, nothing was too much trouble. Weve had an amazing holiday and cant wait to recommend Harvey's House to others, and come back ourselves some time.

A real home away from home. Every detail has been thought about and rather than arrive at a property and then have to think about whether we then needed to go and buy washing up liquid etc everything that we needed was there. A real first was a dog bed, poo bags and a bowl for her. Alongside plenty of kitchen equipment to cook, the garden area is beautiful and the hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and were on hand to help with anything we needed. The kids enjoyed the rope swing and the hot tub and a big bonus was a comfy bed to sleep in. I hope that this cottage stays exactly as it is and many more families can enjoy what it has to offer.

We have all had a fabulous holiday in this small but big cozy home. We particularly enjoyed the tyre swing that we used almost everyday. We desired the luxury of the bedrooms especially the beds that you actually want to jump into and go to sleep. We liked the secret path to the river, that took us a long time to find.

5 Accommodation Beautiful, relaxing time spent at Harveys House. Lovely woodland garden hot tub was ace!! Our little pup loved exploring the garden too. All beds comfy. We all have separate bedrooms at home, so we did too here. Comments TV great choice of channels to keep us busy. Sofa so comfy. Sink in bathroom a little too high up for us little people. Beautiful cottage, lovely owners & great location

Please don't overlook this beautiful, rustic, tranquil cottage and click to the next property. We can't recommend it more highly. Thank you to Jenna and Nigel for allowing us to feel like cherished guests. So many extra touches that Jenna and Nigel give the cottage make it so special and gives the impression that they are very proud of their business and it was a joy to stay there. I took a prehome made shepherds pie to put in the oven when we arrived, but the kitchen there has all the implements to make a tasty meal. The log burner keeps you warm and cosy and you wont be cold! The beds are comfy and we had the best nights sleep. The hot tub was FANTASTIC... and the garden is not overly manicured or overlooked and gives the sense of getting back to nature, it is very peaceful and relaxing. It's the extra touches that made our stay outstanding, and we agree with a previous feedback that the cottage is decorated to a standard of a 5star hotel. The cats were curious and adorable but we were warned not to let them inside case they scratch the furniture.

We so enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautiful and has all that you need. The owners,Gemma and Nigel exude friendly welcome and are so helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend to others

OMG what can we say, and we said OMG so many times within our first minutes on arriving at Harvey's House! The area, house and garden were incredible and so beautiful! Jenna and Nigel are the perfect hosts and the attention to detail was out of this world. We were so welcomed, with such thoughtful touches and decorated to a standard of a 5 star hotel! The garden has a hot tub, so easy to use, so tranquil and not overlooked. It was like a fairy garden with lots to explore! Having the old viaduct in the garden was incredible too! The place is central to everywhere we wanted to go like St Ives, Seal Sanctuary, and other places of local beauty. Had the best night sleep looking at the stars above our bed through the Velux windows! We never wanted to leave and came home to start redecorating in the same style! We cannot wait to come back very soon! Thank you Jenna and Nigel and the pussy cats for giving us the best week and the loveliest memories. A wonderful secluded cottage with everything you could ever need. Quality and cleanliness to a high standard. The hot tub and surroundings are wonderful with the viaduct at the bottom of the garden. Location is great with helston town only 5 minutes away along with many other wonderful places to visit. We did a few tourist attractions but loved Lizard the most with its costal path. Sad to leave, and hope to return soon. Last but not least, the hosts were lovely and close by but not imposing in case anything was needed. Would highly recommend Harveys House

Fantastic accommodation! The house is absolutely beautiful and the garden is amazing! Such a great location to go walking along the river and exploring. Also only a short drive to local shops and the port of Porthleven. Jenna and Nige were brilliant hosts and the communication from them was top quality. Would highly recommend and hope to holiday there again!

What a fantastic place to stay hosts were very helpful and friendly. The house was just perfect, we wanted to get away from everything and relax and that's what we did as house was set in a beautiful location surrounded by a lovely garden and the hot tub was an added bonus.. Couldn't fault anything and best night's sleep we'd had in ages as beds so comfy .

Lovely cottage in a great location with SO many little extra touches that made our week in Cornwall special. Lots of logs for log burner and hot tub, really comfy beds, soft towels and plenty of loo roll! Also really appreciated having cling film, tin foil and teacoffee. Added to that the place was SPOTLESSLY clean very impressed! Thank you for having us! X

Harvey's House is a wonderful, secluded cottage in a terrific location close to Helston. It was the perfect base from which to easily explore the surrounding area. The cottage was spotlessly clean, maintained to a high standard with every possible comfort taken care of by the thoughtful owners. This included even the smallest details such as paw washers for our dog , a dog bed large enough for a greyhound which is rare! and dog towels. The owners were very generous with consumables such as loo roll and logs which is not always the case We had the most amazing, restful week and would totally recommend this property.

Harveys House is a lovely cottage. The hot tub is a great feature for the cold winter months to relax in. The interior of the cottage is beautifully done and the place is in a great location to explore local walks and is a short journey to the coast.

Thanks for a great stay loved the barn conversion and modern way youve fitted it out. Hot tub a wonderful feature. A few kitchen utensils needed to complete the inventory potato masher, corkscrew, can opener & some proper wine glasses wouldnt go amiss. Id probably note on the listing the steep driveway that some cars & people may struggle with. Only other smaller point would be that the logs issued albeit plentiful for our stay werent that dry and typically needed kiln dried logs that we bought to establish the fire indoors & outdoors before we could make use of them.. I wouldnt normally be this picky but the barn would have been too cold had we not been able to rely on the fire burning at full output every night, with the bedrooms much cooler c18degrees by late evening.. Do hope the venture works out & pays off for you we didnt really get to enjoy the immediate setting much due to the time of year, but am sure it would be lovely in the summer months.. Steve

Absolutely incredible property to stay in! Gorgeous decoration, extremely comfortable and the hosts have thought of every little detail. Can't recommend enough, especially having the hot tub to soak in after a long hike.

As a family of 5 with grown up kids and 2 dogs We decided to spend xmas at Harvey's House. The Property was amazing and suited our festivities. Clean, tidy and very high spec. Very comfortable and generous extras provided. A gem of find. Hosts were lovely and friendly. Our advice..don't miss out and spend time chilling at this amazing place.

Harveys House was the perfect place to retreat to. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from Jenna and Nigel, with a delicious cream tea and a hot hot tub ready. Perfect! Harveys house is a very comfortable and cosy place to stay. Its new decor and furnishings have been thoughtfully and joyfully created for this new venture with everything you could possibly need from air fryer, dog paw cleaning cups, to sheep design toilet roll holder!! The Christmas decorations were a beautiful touch too. There are three spacious bedrooms each with its own decor theme. The open plan living space works well with a beautiful outlook on to the garden. The hot tub is AMAZING, strong jets, pretty coloured LED lights. It was so relaxing and special to be outside in all weathers with the moon and stars above, in between the wind and rain. The weather didnt matter! It was quite easy to get the tub back to temperature each day. Jenna and Nigel were very responsive to our questions and any issues were sorted promptly. Harveys House is quiet and private, located in its own woodland garden bordered by a river. Woodland walks from the house made it a perfect place for us and our two fourleggeds. All in all this has been a perfect place for our short winter break. Thank you Jenna and Nigel for all the work you have put into making this such a lovely homely place. We wish you well on this new venture. We definitely want to return again soon and will highly recommend Harveys House to friends and family. N.B Please read the directions carefully and dont follow the SAT NAV and end up having to turn round in a neighbours garden!!
