Apple Tree Barn is a superb new, modern stone built cottage with beautiful views across the west coast. The accommodation had everything we needed and provided the family with comfort, including hot tub, and a great base to explore the Lake District and West Coast. The owners Kim and Steve were very welcoming and gave great advice for local places to visit and eateries. I would recommend Apple Tree Barn to anyone visiting the Lake District , we will 100 be returning the next time we visit this area

Lovely house, nice quiet location. Had most of the amenities we expected, just missing a washing line & an iron & ironing board. The owner Kim was great, she met us on arrival & showed us around the house. The house was very comfortable, the recliner chairs were fantastic & the bed was really comfortable. The hot tub was very welcome after a day driving & walking around the Lake District. The house is in an ideal location, to tour the countryside.
Fantastic property in a lovely location, off the beaten track but close to facilities and only 30 minutes from Windermere. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The property was immaculately presented and the hot tub was a great bonus. Would definitely visit again!
It was such a brilliant house, everything was spotless and anything we needed was in the house and the hot tub was amazing. It was so peaceful even with it being on a working farm. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back at some point, thank you for a lovely weekend.
Our stay at Apple tree barn was wonderful. We were met by the host, Kim, who was welcoming and relaxed. The barn was spotless clean with the most comfortable settee's and beds. The hot tub was ready with fresh water. The views are beautiful, and you can hear some of the animals from the nearby zoo. We can highly recommend this barn for a relaxing time with friends or family.
From before the trip to staying at the accommodation Kim was extremely helpful answering any questions. Apple tree barn is an absolute gem, well equipped and high standard of cleanliness. Everything is of high quality and makes the stay very comfortable. We couldnt have chosen a better place for a nice week away. Location is brilliant and even though on a working farm very peaceful. Our 3 year old made friends with the cats who are very friendly. From start to finish we dont have a negative thing about this stay, the hot tub is a nice little bonus aswell. Thanks to Kim and her husband for the stay, we look forward to staying again in the future.

High standards of cleanliness was through out the property, the beds and pillows were so comfy to sleep onn,the outside area for the children to play in was just right and the hot tub was perfect after a day out of activities. Also Kim the host was so lovely to talk answering any questions we had and taking the time out to listen to our young girls questions too. Harold
Delayed review but we stayed here for my birthday at the beginning of March and we cannot recommend enough and shout about how great this place is. The barn was absolute immaculate, brand new, so spacious, modern, interior lovely. Added bonus of a huge hot tub and great outdoor space. One of the best places weve stayed in! To top it off the owners were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful. They let us meet the sheep and new lambs, which was amazing and such a nice touch. They even left me a birthday present at the door of some chocolates which was so thoughtful. Cant recommend this place enough, cant wait to come back and bring family!
The property was extremely well equipped to a very high standard. There were 6 of us and the building felt very spacious. Even though it was a chilly February, we all loved the hot tub, particularly our kids who used it 2 or 3 times each day! We had an electric car and the charging point was so handy. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location was beautiful. We specially appreciated the underfloor heating and log burner. The location was perfect for day trips to the Lakes. The owners were extremely welcoming, friendly and on hand for any queries. We would love to stay again and would highly recommend Apple Tree Barn.
