We had a great time overall. The house was very close to beaches and walks and had enough space for all of our cars to park outside 3 comfortably. There were a few slight negatives that prevented me from giving 5 stars No soap or toilet paper in the downstairs loo. Nobody could work out the microwave function for the multi oven. Batteries were dead in the remotes. TV in main lounge could do with an upgrade as all others were far more up to date with apps etc. Hot water system is poor given that its the newest technology air source heat pump. Only 2 rooms in the house had instant hot water main bathroom and downstairs loo We had to waste a lot of water running the taps before the water was warm enough to use no hot water had been used before running the taps. It is VERY easy to miss the lane from the main road. Could be useful to have some means of highlighting it from the main road. All in all these are VERY minor inconveniences and we will definitely book Tredarn again in the future! Thanks for having us

We really loved our stay and loved the house. Super clean on arrival and great living space downstairs. With hot weather we welcomed the find of multiple fans in the upstairs cupboard

Tredarn is a beautiful holiday home over looking fields. The house is spotless and caters for eight guests comfortably. The only issue was the televisions upstairs were not easy to find channels if at all. We would love to return for a third time, but the price has just gone up too much!

A fabulous week at Tredarn. Well located. Fabulous beach 3 Miles Long within about 10 minutes drive. The house itself is beautiful and extremely comfortable. As we had one dog with us it was lovely to find the garden such a secure environment. The area itself St Ives is beautiful and we also went to some of my childhood memories of The Lizard, Kynance Cove spectacular, Gunwalloe, Goon Hilly, Lands End disappointing to much tourist stuff, Coverack beautiful. The Seal Sanctuary at Gweek certainly worth a visit as is a boat trip from St Ives to see the seals on Godrevy Island. Fabulous week

House was very well presented and clean. We had some issues with the tvs not working on some of the apps or freezing half way through programmes. There was a musty smell in all the ensuites which we couldn't get rid off. The instructions to find the house were spot on. In general we did enjoy using tredarn as our base to travel to the local beaches.

On entering the property I knew straight away that our stay would be an enjoyable one. Superbly spacious and immaculate, there was plenty of room for our group8 adults and a dog. Situated in an area which was convenient for visiting so many of Cornwalls treasures. We didnt use the hot tub but would be an added extra for anyone wishing to do so.

My only issue were the directions to the property. It is at the end of an unnamed road. I spoke to a neighbour, who did not not know the property. You need clearer instructions directions.

No hot water in the kitchen despite running the tap continuously for 5 minutes. All other taps ran hot almost immediately. Bath could do with a non slip mat. Put bins out on both days but not collected on either day. A pint of milk to go with the Tea bags etc would have been very welcomed. Hot tub took a long time to get to temperature.

A beautifully designed property that had everything we needed for our stay. Both spacious and immaculate. Well located for the places we wanted to visit. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The house is amazing and in a great location, we had a great holiday only downside was that the hot tub was not checked our entirely stay and after a few days of 8 people using the hot tub it became cloudy and unpleasant and we could not use it on our last 3 days. I had asked on checkin is there a set time for testing and maintenance and the owner told me no we dont do that I also asked where the equipment was I can do it myself and was told not needed and it will be fine. This was disappointing as one of the reasons we chose this property

Paint started to flake in dining room. Looks like areas where the screws are for plasterboard? Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tredarn and credit for such a fantastic holiday home.

Some difficulty in initially finding the property. While directions were good, a signpointing too could help. The hot hub maintenance person were still there on our arrival which coursed some delay in parking & settling in. But my family, grandson & I had a wonderful time at the property & are very grateful to the owners & Sykes Cottages. I would recommend this property.

Fabulous house central location. Nice enclosed garden for the dog. Everything to a high standard comfy and clean.

A beautiful house to stay in. Extremely clean, very comfortable & well maintained and had all that you would need for your stay. The little welcome extras for your stay were gratefully received. The house is centrally placed to visit most of Cornwall and has a welcome Hot Tub to relax in at the end of the busy day sightseeing. Would highly recommend a stay in this gorgeous house

A lovely property with perfect accommodation. It felt a bit special and was really nice for a short break. Enjoyed the extras like the hot tub. Access to property was a quite narrow, other than that everything was great.

An absolutely stunning property, spacious with plenty of storage, had everything we needed and more the owner have really thought of everything you would need. Lovely added touches with milk in the fridge and treats on our arrival. Perfect location to explore the area.

What a wonderful holiday home. Would definitely recommend this property. Well equipped, comfortable beds and the added bonus of the hot tub after a day out exploring. Within a 6 minute drive to a glorious beach, views were amazing at sunset. Would we go back? without a doubt, would rate this property 1010 with its modern style and furnishings, thank you so much

A lovely property! ! Truly a home away from home. Very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The garden is very secure for dogs...and children! The hot tub is very clean and well maintained. The location of the house is very good for exploring with Hayle, St Ives , lands end, Penzance, Falmouth and Newquay an easy drive away. The train from St.Erth to St Ives is a good way to see the coast. Trevaskis farm is a stones throw away and is a great place to eat ...their dessert selection is amazing. The animals were a big hit with our girls! We had a fabulous time...thank you

Great property, we had a brilliant week

Absolutely fantastic trip to Cornwall, with a cosy and comfortable house to relax in. The beds were the comfiest Ive ever slept in. The house was immaculate! There was so much space and storage. The hot tub was clean, and a lovely end to each day. We really appreciated the snacks and milk on arrival, and were grateful for things like dishcloths and washing up liquid etc. The only reason for the slightly lower mark for facilities was because the dryer had broken before we arrived and a replacement couldnt be fitted until 2 days before the end of the trip. However, these things happen and was not the fault of the owner, who actually went above and beyond in offering to reimburse any launderette costs and even offered to get someone to come and get our dirty washing and return it clean and dry. Overall, we were so happy with everything and would definitely recommend. Wed also return again, were it not for the fact we like to try different locations each year. Thank you so much. 5

We stayed at Tredarn at the beginning on July, and WOW what an experience. Firstly the home is absolutely stunning. The house was clean and welcoming, the snacks left were fabulous and the kitchen was fully equit. The rooms were pristine and so cosy. We had a problem when we arrived as the dryer had been reported broken by the previous guests. HOWEVER, Jane was so lovely and offered launderette expenses.. not that we took her up on this, these things happen and who actuals wants to wash cloths on there holiday anyway. We also met Mr Tredarn who came the day the dryer repair man came and he was equally as lovely. Both Stuart and the repair man were so friendly, both so apologetic when the dryer couldt be fixed again not the owners fault. The hot tub was fabulous, the kiddos loved it! We had our 2 doggies and they settled straight away. Hayle is beautiful, the beach was fabulous and places like Penzance, St Ives and lands end are so close. If your looking for a beautiful home in a beautiful seaside town, then this is the one!. It's a gem and well definitely be back next year. We actually fell in love. Can I also shout out to Jules and her husband who turned up alittle before we left concierge again absolutely fantastic people, so down to earth and lovely to chat with. Thank you for having us! Absolutely fantastic property. Very spacious for the whole family. Everything is high standard. Kitchen has all the crockery, utensils and pans you need if you like cooking on holiday. Spotlessly clean throughout. Beds really comfy with beautiful views to wake up to from the back of the house. Ample shower, bath and toilet facilities. Loved the spacious private garden as did our dog. The hot tub was a lovely added luxury. Excellent location as a base to visit all Cornwall's beautiful places. A little road noise from the A30 but nothing disruptive. Local Turnpike Inn just a few minutes walk serving high quality food. Trevaskis Farm restaurant is only a 5 minute drive for delicious farm food with a little area for children to see donkeys, pigs and sheep. Hayle for stocking up on groceries etc.. Information book provided gave helpful detailed information. The owners have put a great deal of thought into providing everything this property needs and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here plus we were lucky to have glorious weather too.

I really enjoyed my stay at Trebarn house, great location, lovely and clean, the house was outstanding and I loved it! ! Everything you needed was in the home. Nice to have treats and milk, coffee and tea was also in the house on arrival. I will definitely be booking this home again and would highly recommend
