Lovely property in a beautiful area. We loved our week there.

We all really enjoyed our stay ! The cottage felt really homely! I loved the decor and the area was peaceful. There was afew niggles, for expample the shower is very low and my husband could barely get under it . The ceiling in the toilet upstairs was very low and on a slant so we did bang our heads afew times . The beds and pillows were ok but not massively comfy . The toilet roll kept falling off the holder in the bathroom downstairs, there was nowhere to put your wash bags in the bathrooms, a shelf would be helpful. The walls were patched up with a slightly different coloured paint . There was lots of flies and flying creatures. Its sounds like Im moaning

Had a fantastic time at The Stable. The cottage was very well equipped, including a decent fan in the bedroom to keep us cool in this beautiful summer. We used it as a base for visiting the local attractions. Can highly recommend the Alpaca Walking, ice cream parlour and tree top adventures which are all relatively local. The cottage was located in a very quite location, with just the odd tractor going past. There was no one in the neighbouring cottage, so we had full use of the garden area for playing cricket and football. The Stable was all nicely decorated and appears to be kept well maintained nothing has been left to start looking scruffy or worn out. Had a really nice week away and would happily book again.

We had a fabulous stay. Great decor, very clean & comfy. Lovely outside seating area to watch the local wildlife. Daily flypasts from Buzzard, and evening visits from beautiful friendly Peacock. Very central for visiting Beautiful Lincoln, and surrounding areas. Lots of pretty villages nearby. Would highly recommend. We did not need to contact hosts, but we met them, and they were very friendly.

A spacious and very well laid out property that's light, well cared for and bright. The location is quiet, surrounded by trees and wild flowers and lovely lanes. Yes, a hook in the bathroom would be useful. Very much enjoyed staying in the cottage and walking around Tealby, Walesby and Donnington on Bain. The Lincolnshire Wolds are lovely and The Stable Cottage a perfect, relaxing place to stay. Thank you, enjoyed the plum loaf.

This is the third time we have stayed at The Stable, and we love it. It is our home from home. Beautifully quiet location, yet close enough to various places and activities to make each day enjoyable and different. The cottage is always clean and welcoming, and the owners are always communicative and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again, and are already looking forward to it! Thank you!

A perfect, restful, quiet retreat in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. This was our second visit to The Stables and we were totally contented. The accommodation has everything required and is a credit to the owners. Thank you very much. We will be back again.

Very clean and well equiped, nice gesture of Lincolnshire plum loaf on arrival. 4 stars rather than 5 because of the cramped shower not really suitable for tall people and the limited internet capacity, it seemed to be constricted to 10MB which would have been OK, if consistent but sometimes only 3MB was available.

A lovely cottage nestled in the Lincolnshire countryside. It was lovely waking up to the sounds of the birds and opening the front door to a peacock!! The cottage has everything you could need, from toys for the children through to plenty of literature about the local area for the adults to decide on trips out.It is very comfortable and spacious and he kitchen is very well equipped. The welcoming goodies were lovely and very much enjoyed.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful holiday cottage. The setting was peaceful, and the accommodation itself was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. One small suggestion would be to consider adding a lamp downstairs, as the ceiling lighting was a bit bright for the evenings when we just wanted to relax. Also, a hook in the bathroom would be really handy given the compact size of the space just for clothes. Overall though, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a cosy and wellkept place to stay.

We had a wonderful holiday at The Stable at Warren House! The house was absolutely beautiful with all the necessities we needed. Thank you for the lovely items you left on our arrival, plum bread, milk & sweets, they were very much appreciated! The grounds were charming and Lincolnshire was a really lovely place to visit! In May we returned to enjoy our third stay at The Stables, set in the beautiful idyllic Lincolnshire countryside. The house is attractive, clean, and tastefully dressed. The kitchen is well laid out and provided all that we needed, including space for our own items. I have to confess the new child gate at the top of the stairs struck fear in my heart. I was frightened of tripping over the horizontal bar along the base so I had to use the stairs with great care. The bedrooms are comfortable and the linen and towels excellent. We loved being within easy reach of many great attractions such as Doddington Hall, the Walled Garden at Baumber, Lincoln Cathedral and the Petwood Hotel. Each of them was very special in their own way, and we enjoyed delicious food at all of them. Another holiday to remember at the Stables. Maureen

A beautiful property in the most idyllic peaceful surroundings. The property was spotlessly clean ,comfortable and had everything you needed for your stay .The plum loaf and Easter chocolate was yummy kindly left for us by the host. Very well situated with lots of places to visit in the area . We visited Lincoln , Horncastle, Skegness ,Mablethorpe and had a very enjoyable day at Marker Rasen racecourse something we had never done before and had a great day . Overall 5 star property in a 5 star location . Highly recommend

We had a second wonderfully relaxing break at The Stables. Super quiet location, perfect for a getaway. We now consider it a home from home, and would definitely return.

Overall very enjoyable, however the low bathroom ceiling did cause us both issues! Also because the outside seating was positioned in full shade & we were unable to relocate & take advantage of the sunshine because it was chained to the wall?

No fault of owners but WiFi very poor. TV cuts out alot. A dvd player would have been appreciated for evening relaxation. Bathroom very small and bath very high so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, getting in and out. Walk in shower would have been easier. Other than that cottage very nice and pretty peaceful surroundings.

Good location for visiting the coast and Lincoln. Outside of property wellmaintained. Lovely views through the windows from the front and upstairs. Thank you for the cake and milk on arrival. Clean, fresh towels and bedding provided. Owner kindly posting something back to us that we forgot! We enjoyed our week very much. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at the Stable! Kitchen was fab, had everything we needed, the addition of tea bads ect was much appreciated! Living area was great, the TV BBC channels kept loosing signal which was quite annoying. The downstairs bathroom was dissapointing, it was very small and the bath was difficult to get inout of as their was no where to hold onto! The shower head was too low, my husband couldnt stand up under the shower! Upstairs was great, really comfy beds and the velux windows were lovely. The outside area was amazing, we had wonderful weather so were able to make good use of outside. A lovely property which we enjoyed returning to everyday after a day out exploring the area! Generally excellent throughout, with all amenities you would want when away from home. One small thing, a hook on the bathroom door for dressing gowns etc., would be a good idea!!

Last May we spent a week at The Stables and enjoyed our stay so much we returned here for another holiday this year. The house welcomed us with open arms when we walked through the door. It is attractively decorated, sparkling clean and very comfortable. There is a wealth of places to visit from The Stables travelling through glorious countryside. We revisited Doddington Hall & Gardens, having been impressed last year, and again enjoyed lunch made from the Halls own produce. We then discovered more delights such as the Walled Garden at Baumber, a haven of bliss amid beautiful plants, which also does delicious food, and The Durham Ox at Thimbleby, where we had an excellent meal Including a very fine Cow Pie, then took part in a Quiz Night. When we did stay at home we made good use of the wellappointed kitchen, and were able to relax in front of the Smart TV, before retiring to the comfortable bedrooms. A peaceful nights sleep followed in the quiet of the countryside. We truly appreciated and enjoyed our stay at The Stables and give it a high recommendation. Maureen

Fabulous place to stay, lovely location and very well looked after, looked like it was only just converted as it was so clean. We liked the opening velux windows but just note you cannot open them in the rain as it will come in. Huge amount of wildlife around the house, as well as lots of birds we saw many hare and deer and the peacock was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend the crossroads inn at East barkwith, very good food and the closest pub only just over a mile so walkable.

We had such a nice week at The Stable. The accommodation is lovely beautifully finished, homely, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The area is so peaceful and relaxing. Eva was a pleasure to deal with and very kindly provided a travel cot, baby bath and change mat for our young children which was an enormous help. Panton is perfectly placed for exploring Lincolnshire youre very close for Lincoln, the Wolds and the coast. We enjoyed days out at the beach at Anderby Creek, Chapel St Leonards, Rand Farm absolutely great for kids and Tattershall Castle. We also enjoyed looking around Lincoln, Louth, Woodhall Spa and Horncastle. Thanks again for a brilliant week, I wouldnt hesitate in recommending the accommodation to anyone visiting Lincolnshire.

Beautiful property, decorated to a high spec and everything provided for. Underfloor heating was an absolute dream in what was a very cold weekend. The area around the Stable was beautiful English countryside with fabulous natural hedgerows.

Everything was perfect the cottage had all we required and was well presented also the sun shined so had a wonderful week. Would have been nice to meet the owners just to say hello but I knew they were on hand if we encountered any problems.

We had a lovely stay at The Stable despite the rubbish weather. The accommodation was well presented and had the majority of things you would need. The plum loaf, tea bags and fresh milk on arrival were appreciated until our food delivery arrived. The owners were helpful with suggestions as to what we could do. The only two things we would say are it could do with some slightly bigger bowls for cerealdessert and the shower head was quite low so if you were much taller than us you would struggle to stand up under the shower. Apart from that we liked Lincolnshire and would visit the area again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Stables very much. Though there were comfy seats outside, wed have preferred a table and chairs so we could eat out there though I realise you cant please everyone. Also climbing in and out of the bath to shower required some agility in the tiny bathroom.

This cottage was beautiful and a credit to the owners and for that I have given it 5 stars. We will probably book this accommodation again, as the location is lovely and quiet. However, just to point out, that for some people the bantam cockerel who starts to crow at 3.55am may be annoying. We have fowl at home, so we are used to their behaviour just shutting the windows deadens the noise, so he didn't really bother us. Oh, just another useful tip would be to put clothes hooks on the back of the bathroom door. Many thanks for a great holiday.

We have just spent a wonderful week at The Stables, loving our time there, and feeling at home from the minute we entered. The Stables was beautifully decorated, perfectly clean and emanated warmth and comfort. Driving through the local countryside dressed in the white of May blossom and cow parsley was pure pleasure in itself and there were many places to visit using the Stables as a base so our days were full. Must mention Doddington Hall and Gardens about 35 minutes away. It was fascinated seeing where 400 years of unbroken family life is still lived out among the accumulated treasures and where we had a delicious lunch made from local produce. We enjoyed Gunby Estate Hall and Gardens also within a 35minute drive. We were engrossed with our tour of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby and topped that day off with an excellent meal on the terrace at Petwood Hotel, which linked in well as it was home to 617 'The Dambusters' Squadron during the war and housed lots of memorabilia. At the end of our full days, it was always good to get home to The Stables and to be able to make something to eat in the wellequipped kitchen, before relaxing on in front of the smart television. Being situated in the countryside silence reigned. It was very quiet and peaceful meaning sleep came easily in the comfortable beds We count ourselves fortunate to stay in a great property, one we didnt want to leave!! Maureen

The stables were so well equipped and beautifully clean, wonderful peaceful surroundings even for a 14 year old! Thoroughly recommend a stay there, really beautiful.

The Stables was a truly lovely property, recently renovated to a very high standard. It was surgically clean, furnished to a very high standard, very comfortable and in the middle of pretty countyside which was so quiet all you could hear was birdsong and the occasional tractor. Really helpful and responsive owners to!!

This was a perfect place to stay and is now on our return to again list. The accommodation is excellent and it is close to some beautiful places. The plum loaf was a welcome touch and we knew where to find the hosts if we needed them.
