Owners were always on hand to help, when needed. Very friendly people. Cottage is very cosy and comfortable. It has everything in you need. The properly is beautiful and so are the surroundings. We stayed there from 23rd30th December. The cottage was decorated lovely for Christmas. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Unfortunately our stay was cut short after finding flees in the property living and sleeping area. Very disappointing as we had been looking forward to our stay in Cornwall.

We booked both cottages for our family after a previous visit. Both cottages were delightful, clean, great location and had everything we needed and more. As we had booked both we had the full garden area including hammocks, hot tub and bar area etc to ourselves. The space is really safe for children of which we had a young 1.5 year old with us who loved being free. When we next visit Cornwall this will be the first place we try to book. Thank you Matt and Dan for your hospitality.

Such a beautiful home so thoughtfully restored and illustrating original charm with modern comforts. The Cart House had everything we needed to ensure a relaxing & peaceful stay. The hot tub was a lovely addition and overlooked the sprawling Cornish countryside a view you could never tire of! Our host, Matt, was an amazing guy & was so accommodating and helpful. Fabulous stay at The Cart House ! A lovely character property in its own right and even better when used with the similarly sized neighbouring property, allowing friends family two families of four in our case to holiday together whilst having their own space and enjoying excellent facilities. The owner Matt is a great guy, very friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend staying here and Im sure well be back ourselves thanks Matt for a great stay.

This cottage was absolutely beautiful, it contained everything necessary plus more! Matt had thought of everything, always available if anything needed. Resident cats were very welcoming, little Sausage was a real little character. The cottage was situated in a great location, you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but in fact you were central to everywhere. Hope to return in the future. Thankyou for a perfect getaway.

Prior to setting off spoke with Matt, who confirmed directions for how to find them. Lovely warm welcome on arrival and manage to get in early, which was appreciated. Although a little off the beaten track it is a super location and a beautiful accommodation, with outdoor space and friendly kitties!! Well equipped and ultra modern facilities included, hot tub not utilised by us weather! but lovely setting. Easy to get about from this location, 30mins drive in all directions you will find something that will entertain all tastes. This is a beautiful barn conversion with every convenient thing thought through. The owners were very welcoming and the resident cats Sausage and Dominic were lovely.

Overall very comfortable but the second bedroom is a bit cramped for adults and has no hanging space. Outdoor barbecue play area hot tub not used but a great idea for families.

The Cart House offers us a great location to explore Cornwall. Matt the owner ensures a great stay offering a warm welcome, is onhand to assist with anything, including onsite help or in advising on places to visit, thus giving guests a 5 experience!

The Cart House is a top rate accommodation, all facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Matt and his brother Dan have done an excellent conversation of two dilapidated barns to a very high standard, nothing was to much trouble. Situated in the countryside for a peaceful stay. The accommodation is situated less than 5 minutes from the A38 and less than 10 minutes from Liskeard for local supermarkets. Ideally situated for places like Looe, Polperro, Mevigissey, Newquay, all within 34 hour and Truro and Falmouth within 112 hr Some lovely places to eat in all mentioned above and also a lovely pub in st Neot the London Inn, well recommended about 15 minutes away. We would like wish Matt and Dan all the very best and we are sure to return in the future.

We recently spent a week at the Cart House. It is a fantastic barn conversion in a countryside location and really does look as good in real life as it does in the photographs. Matt is a great host, with plenty of helpful local advice. Brother Dan has fitted and repurposed some brilliant retrophone tech to satisfy your inner geek. Matt also showed us around their neighbouring property Elvan Cottage Ref. 976855 which is finished to an equally high standard. We would have no hesitation in booking either property again in the future.

I spent another week for the fourth time at both cottages. They are just so relaxing and the family and the cats are all friendly. What an amazing holiday

The Cart House is well situated to explore the surrounding area being so close to the A38, but still in a very rural location. The upside down nature of accommodation lends itself so well to the property in terms of views and the bedrooms being cool which is of considerable benefit when sleeping in hot weather. All facilities you could ever want are provided, supplemented by quirky tech and made all the more pleasurable by the owners. Thanks in particular to Matt and his assistant sausage the cat.

Amazing property with beautiful views and absolutely everything you could need in selfcatering accommodation. Hot tub was a nice touch and kept clean and as hygienic as possible throughout the week as a shared facility. Owners Matt and Dan were very helpful and friendly! Their cats Dom and Sausage were even more so coming for sleepovers on several of the nights and popping in for the occasional fuss lovely, furry friends. The house in is a great location for people wanting to explore the local area during the week we visited Adrenaline Quarry great for the dare devils, Carnglaze Caves beautiful underground experience, Truro Farmers Market a little further out, around 50 minutes but a nice shopping day, Looe Bay amazing pasties, fish and chips at Kellys and a lovely soft sand beach and 2 local supermarkets to get supplies for the week Morrisons and Aldi. We may very well be returning in the future!

Good central location. Very helpful and friendly introduction by Matt and his Brother. The grounds are well kept with great views over the fields and woods. The cottage itself was immaculate and well presented, it is spacious with a fabulous kitchen. The beds could be more comfortable but I accept it comes down to individual requirements. The welcome pack was basic and a few additions would be generally well received. I would definitely recommend and return.
