The Barn is a beautifully restored stone barn conversion in North Yorkshire, set in the peaceful countryside near Bedale. Original features include exposed timber beams, high vaulted ceilings and thick stone walls that showcase the building's agricultural heritage. Outside you'll find a private hot tub perfect for soaking under the stars after exploring the Dales.

The setting is pure rural Yorkshire. Rolling fields stretch out in every direction. You're surrounded by working farmland with footpaths leading straight from the door into open countryside.

Inside there's space for up to six guests across three bedrooms. The open-plan living area features original barn doors and a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped and flows into the dining space beneath the vaulted ceiling.

Enjoyed our stay at The Barn. Lovely property in a beautiful setting . Gorgeous views from all windows. Loved watching the wild life , the pheasants kept us entertained, didnt realise they could run as fast as they do. Thought the animals on the farm were lovely too especially the two little goat kids.Property is well kept and very comfortable , sad we had to return home. Thank you for a lovely stay Cliff. Our holiday at The Barn was made excellent by the warm welcome we received by the owner. The hamper was very thoughtful and appreciated after cycling nearly 80 miles to get there. He also told us of good cycling places to visit and even offered to take us to some if we wanted. The property itself was perfect, clean and very comfortable, like home from home. A beautiful place to cycle too even though hilly. It was worth the effort.

Such an amazing cottage! It has everything you need and the owner is friendly and knowledgable, responded straight away to queries and left us to enjoy the cottage in peace. Have been to lots of cottages, this was the best bed Ive slept in! The shower is fantastic too. Theres lots of puzzles and games, but if you just want to chill with the TV, it has all the streaming channels. Kitchen is small but perfectly formed with everything you need, but take everything you need, theres no oil, herbs etc as storage is on the kitchen worktop, so nowhere for previous renters to leave items for the next guests. The views are wonderful, and I really enjoyed watching the sun rise from my bed each morning. Its only 5 mins by car into Northallerton, 15 mins to Thirsk, and theres loads around to do and see. I cannot recommend The Barn enough. Its been heavenly, and I plan to return as soon as I can.

The holiday property is lovely. Eveything you needed to use , the bed was a bit to high for me but very comfortable one in it . Hot tub was good nice to get into after being out all day Easy access to Northallerton town and other places. The only thing I would say it would be nice to a cupboard for food rather than on the work tops . Definitely would recommend to friends to go stay

Stayed for 3 weeks to help tide us over a house move. Well equipped, very cosy and an excellent base for exploring North Yorkshire. Cliff is a lovely gent with great knowledge of the area which came very handy. The cottage is beaut8 equipped and well located to explore the local area Approximately an hour to Whitby, Richmond and York. The hot tub was an essential part of the booking for us as we knew it would be a welcome end to a days exploring. It is a working farm, so expect a little smell at times but go and say hello to the llamas, horses and goats! Great location, lovely cottage.

We cannot recommend The Barn highly enough. Wonderful location just outside Northallerton but with a rural outlook and countryside views. Comfortable and well appointed accommodation and excellent facilities including hot tub and entertainment for the kids football goal, table football, air hockey etc And so many things to do in the local area. My 9 year old could have spent all day looking at the farm animals, and petting Maxwell. Highlight of her trip! We did double check a baby goat hadn't been stashed in the car before leaving!!. The Barn was the perfect place to explore Yorkshire. It was in a central location to be able to access the Dales and the Moors. The Barn itself was perfect for our family of 4. We were given a fabulous welcome from the owner who shared ideas for days out and places to eat. There was also a welcome hamper which was very appreciated. The property had everything you needed with a spacious living area and clean and comfortable bedrooms. There was the added luxury of having a hot tub and a range of games including table football and croquet. The hot tub was easy to work and had bluetooth speakers and it was covered so could be enjoyed even in the rain. The kitchen was compact but had all the utensils you needed. Wereally couldn't fault our stay and would recommend to others.

This is a fabulous place to stay. There is everything you need and it is very well furnished with some lovely touches and warm, comfortable and cosy. Some lovely views and a very ample hot tub to relax in. It is within walking distance of Northallerton and all it offers. Highly recommended!

Clifford Pearson greeted us on arrival with a warm and friendly welcome. The Barn was very clean and comfortable and well appointed. The views starting at the front door were stunning, including the sunsets. There is a good space for car parking right by the property. One tiny thing to mention is that the freezer is small and the French Windows stick so we left them closed rather than force them open. Apart from that, we had a lovely stay and recommend the property. Maxwell the dog is a beautiful, quiet and disciplined dog, his occasional visits for a bit of fuss were unobtrusive and brief but welcome .

The description of the property and the pictures does not do the property justice, The Barn is lovely, spacious and open and very comfortable. Cliff was a great host and really helpful in advising us of places to go, the hot tub was wonderful. We would definetly be booking here again.
