We enjoyed a really special week over Christmas at this lovely property. The barn is beautifully converted providing comfortable accommodation with everything we could have needed. The owners provided information about walks from the door which we took advantage of. The secure dog area was greatly appreciated.
Owners were friendly and helpful. Views are fantastic. We could have just sat and stared out the window all day.
Richard
Lovely cottage with stunning views and in an excellent location.
Joanne
Absolutely beautiful property which was very well maintained and cleaned and was highly suitable for dog owners. The views from the property were stunning and it is a great location so close to Keswick. I dont think it is clear on the listing that you cannot leave dog unattended even in a crate if they are happy with this so this would have been useful to know earlier it did state on email but I dont remember reading it on the listing. But otherwise everything was perfect thank you!
Best barn is in such a picturesque location with fields and elks all around. It is so peaceful and friendly. The cottage had everything you could possibly need and the lay out was lovely. It is in a great location for Keswick and we spent most days paddle boarding on Derwent water. I would definitely recommend this cottage.
Darren

Had a wonderful week at Nest Barn as did our dogs. The views are stunning and when we spoke with the owners they advised they are going to improve the garden area which will be a great addition to the property. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Spectacular views from the property, think the best we had so far and we have been coming to lakes since years now Garden fully secured for our dog to enjoy it plus secured field for him to let run loose. Beautiful walks right from your doorstep and very close to all amenities in Keswick too. Very pleased with our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nest shame it went by so quickly. Nice and clean great views and comfortable would recommend anyone to stay here!
Absolutely beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Would highly recommend. Owners are lovely people and the cottage is so clean and well kept. Will definitely be going back.
Amanda
Nest Barn was probably the best self catering we have stayed in. It had everything we needed with the bonus of the courtyard and field for our dog which was great. So many places that cater for dogs do not have an enclosed place to let them out. The views from the big picture windowdoor was fantastic and the distance from Keswick was good as away from the crowds, but easy to get there. Would definitely stay again!
Steven
Amazing location to explore the lakes owners were helpful, hopefully will be booking again.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. Th cottage was lovely, as were the views. Location is perfect
Stephen
We had a fantastic time there, property was lovely, what a view every morning, will be back.
Kathleen
Clean and comfortable with modern facilities. The views and position of the cottage were superb with lots of room for our two dogs who stayed outside safely in the sun most of the time we were back at the cottage. As it was our first time in the Lake District, we would have found it useful to have had a little bit more information about the various pubs and Hotels, for example what other people had thought of the food and service. It took us all week to find the best pub for a meal
Great little cottage with amazing views. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, well thought out and stocked with everything you might need including dog bowls. Location is a great base for access to the local area, choice of either a hike straight out of the front door or a quick drive to visit the picturesque local townsvillages. Access to secure fields to exercise the dog off lead was great too. Really enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend a visit. Thanks.
Andrea
Absolutely lovely property, perfect place to stay for a great holiday near Keswick in the Lake District! Facilities excellent and very clean throughout. do Dog friendly, gated outside and a private field for active dogs. Beautiful views, comfortable and relaxing, a great place to come home to after days exploring the areas around the lakes. Close to visit Wordsworth homes,Dove Cottage and Rydall Mount and for Lake Boat trips which we thoroughly enjoyed. Plenty of walks from the Barn including Castlerigg stone circle. We would stay againand recommend Nest Barn totally.
Beautiful position, spotlessly clean, very comfortable
A very popular spot, will book again.
sophie
Nest Barn was absolutely perfect and we loved our stay there. It was so warm and cosy and well equipped. The views from the cottage are incredible and it was so relaxing to sit and eat looking out at the fells. The fields for our dog to run around it were great and it was lovely to be able to head out on walks straight from the door. I would love to go back Nest Barn again. Perfect cottage in a perfect location. Thank you so much.
