This was our fourth visit to Maggies and we had another brilliant stay. The barn is cosy and well appointed with everything you need for a self catering stay. The walks from the door are great, we took some camping chairs and walked up the hill at the back a few times to watch the sunset. Talgarth is within easy reach for supplies with an excellent butcher, bakery and Coop. We went to Hay a couple of times, one day hiring a canoe from want to canoe? who we would recommend. We also walked the Dragons back ridge one day which was tough but rewarding. We met Abi and Cally during our visit, thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us.
Beautiful location very tranquil and relaxing. However we feel there should be signage to the property.
Lovely cosy cottage in a tranquil location perfect for exploring the Brecond, including relatively easy access onto the hills behind the barn.
Such a lovely setting and comfortable dwelling with so many different parts to explore and rest in the mountain, fields, meadows, stream, pond.

A Perfect Countryside Escape in Wales We had an amazing 4night stay at Maggie's Barn with my partner and our dog. The location is truly idyllicset in a large farm area surrounded by peaceful meadows, offering a real countryside experience. The cold winter nights were magical, and we loved cosying up by the warm ray burner after a day of exploring. The cottage was wellequipped, and we enjoyed cooking delicious meals using fresh produce from the nearby Talgarth market. Its a great spot for nature loversthere are plenty of trails nearby, and we especially recommend the Four Waterfalls Trail, which is about an hours drive away and absolutely worth it. If youre looking for a tranquil getaway with stunning scenery, comfort, and easy access to local markets and walking trails, this is the perfect place. We cant wait to return!
