About Gallow Law Cottage

Gallow Law Cottage is a stone-built barn conversion set on a working sheep farm in Northumberland National Park. Exposed traditional beams and sloping ceilings give this single-storey cottage real barn character. There's a log fire for cosy evenings and curved windows that frame the countryside views. The remote location means dark skies perfect for stargazing.

You're surrounded by fields and woodland on the edge of Northumberland International Dark Sky Park. Deer roam the land. Otters and red squirrels live nearby. The River North Tyne runs through the farm.

Two bedrooms sleep four guests. One king-size and one twin bedroom share a bathroom with roll-top bath and separate walk-in shower. The open-plan living area has that old arch window and a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering.

Hadrian's Wall is 6 miles away (15 minutes). Kielder Water & Forest Park sits 8 miles north (20 minutes). Housesteads Roman Fort is 10 miles east (25 minutes). Hexham Abbey lies 12 miles south (25 minutes).
