Barn Court Cottage Reviews

Susanne
We had a lovely week, everything was fine. Maybe another armchair in living room area would have been good. Otherwise excellent accommodation for a base in Tenby area.
Jacqueline
A lovely clean, comfortable cottage and everything we needed for a relaxing stay . Maybe a couple of drawers in downstairs bedroom and hanging rail a little lower as I struggled to reach. We will definitely be back for a future holiday.
Pleasant cottage, good base for touring the area, fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of off road parking. Would recommend.
Cottage was very comfortable, inviting, spacious and definitely value for money. Great Central location to get to saundersfoot Amroth and surrounding area. Lovely pub almost opposite where we ate. Will be returning next year.
An attractive cottage no doubt a barn conversion. Has lots of potential but not a four star as advertised. Have stayed in many many cottages and never before have we had to strip the beds ourselves on vacating. Requires new double glazing and definitely toilet roll holders in bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. Rotary washing line needs attention instead of rocks to keep it in place and garden etc needs a general tidy up. Dark, cold and a bit disappointing on arrival but we got used to the cottage and it grew on us. Couldn't use the WiFi password?!. Up to date information re supermarkets would have been helpful as found the Kilgetty coop in a right mess so a wasted visit. Contented Sole had the worst chips we had ever had. Oh and a shower cubicle upgrade is required upstairs if the property is to remain a four star. A few other pointers if it would help but not mentioned here. Just a general upgrade needed.
We had a comfortable few days in Barn Cottage Excellent location, secure garden for our 2 dogs. Lovely pub 5 minutes walk down the road. Helpful owners.
Lesley
The cottage was well equipped and in a very quiet position also excellent for sightseeing the surrounding area. I would say the photos need updating the garden and garden furniture was a bit tired looking.
Elizabeth

Disappointing owner forgot we were coming so not there to greet us found dirty tee towels in washing machine the water system made loud noises when in use having used Sykes on many occasions we felt somewhat let down by this cottage
Very comfortable accommodation with lots of character. Tim and Julianna very welcoming. The property is five minutes walk to Boars Head good place to eat and a good base for visiting wider Pembrokeshire . A lovely holiday, thank you.
Stephen
Lovely comfortable cottage, great location with a very nice pub just a few minutes walk away. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming
Claire
We had a lovely last minute stay at Barn Cottage. Me and my husband went with our collie and another couple and there was plenty of room for us all. The cottage is well equipped and comfy, the porch was ideal in the wild stormy weather but at least the cottage was warm and we couldn't even tell how bad it was outside. Some lovely walks a short drive away, look forward to returning
Richard
This was a great property to explore the Pembrokeshire costs line. The house was also well equipped for all our needs and the dogs loved it too. Nice and warm and a comfortable bed.
Emma e
Nice property in a great location for exploring the beautiful area of a Pembrokeshire with all of the main visiting areas within a lovely 30 min drive. A small group of cottages around a courtyardparking area but each are private and quiet. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and clean with everything you need provided. Ideal for 2 couples or a family as 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The superking ensuite bedroom is fabulous and also has an extra single bed. Nice, large ,safe, gravelled enclosed garden area for the pooch. The local pub The Boars Head, literally a 1min walk down the road is an absolute must, the food and service is outstanding and it's dog friendly but advised to book as it gets very busy with locals and visitors. Tim the owner of the cottages is friendly and helpful and lives just behind the cottages so is always on hand if you need anything. Highly recommend a stay here and would not hesitate to return.
A really lovely cottage, so cosy, comfortable and easy. Such great friendly and helpful owners.
Elizabeth
Really nice cottage with a well equipped kitchen & comfy bed. Great location for exploring the local area.
Rosanne
We had a lovely long weekend in Barn Cottage. It was very comfortable and well appointed, and the owners were really friendly and helpful. It was good to have a properly secure outside area for the dogs. We neednt have worried about the road or the railway. The cottage is well tucked out of the way of the road and the trains are few and far between and passed in seconds. The cottage is ideally placed to visit the area. We walked for miles from the door and along the coast path, as well as visiting Colby NT gardens, Stackpole and Tenby. The dogfriendly pub is a few minutes walk away and was lovely. We would definitely recommend Barn Cottage!
Caroline
A very enjoyable and restful holiday. Cottage is well situated for many good beaches, shops, restaurants, walks, etc. and we found it comfortable and wellequipped. Would highly recommend!
Very helpful couple, nice welcome pack but a pint of milk would of been helpful, the cottage was warm. And cosy and comfortable. We were a bit disappointed that the train line was so close to the property. Overall have had an enjoyable stay.
Melanie
A really lovely cottage. Excellent location. Thank you to Tim and Julianna.
So relaxing. Well equipped, comfortable, clean and dog friendly, as all enclosed. Close to many Pembrokeshire attractions with many beautiful beaches within a few minutes drive. Fantastic dog friendly pub just 2 minutes walk away that serves superb food if you don't fancy cooking. Great, friendly owners who are onsite, if needed, but not intrusive. Good wifi too, I took our Firestick and HD streaming was no problem. Highly recommended place for a wonderfully relaxing and restorative break.
Thomas

Clean and spacious cottage in a very quiet area, was a perfect location for a short weekend break booked last minute which everyone enjoyed. The owner Tim was great, very helpful when we noticed we had a flat tyre just before depature.
Carherine
Very friendly and helpful owners. It might be helpful to let people know to bring Roku stick with them for the tv as lots of channels not available, in the summertime not so much bothered about tv

Love it here. Second visit. Not posh, just so comfortable and so many places an easy drive to. Owner Tim extremely helpful.
Very well equipped cottage in a perfect location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Charming, helpful and very welcoming hosts who live next door and were on hand to answer any questions we had. Excellent Gastropub a short walk away, lots of local food and farm shops and good places to eat within easy driving distance. We would certainly stay here again.
