Sandycott Reviews

Alasdair
A well-equipped comfortable cottage in a great location by the beautiful Beadnell Bay.
Catherine
We absolutely loved our stay at Sandycott! We had to rearrange our cottage booking as our previous choice became unavailable, Sandycott was suggested by the booking agents, and turned out to be a much better choice! A quiet location, with ample room to park, and a lovely big garden with plenty of room for two daft black labs to run off what steam they had left after their days on the beach. Access to the dunes and beach via the garden would have been challenging, but it was such a short walk to the (magnificent) beach from the house that it not a problem. We had hoped to have access to the sun room, sadly this was not possible, but as we were very lucky with the weather we were able to sit out on the patio and enjoy the sunshine at the end of the day. The sitting room is a lovely, airy space, with comfy sofas and chairs, the bedrooms were comfortable and we all slept well too. In short, a fabulous stay - we were very sad to leave and would return to Sandycott in a heartbeat, and indeed hope to next year!
Diane
Lovely cottage with exceptional beach access and a large garden for our dogs to explore. Weâ??ve already recommended Sandycott to our friends.
Thalia
The cottage is in a lovely location. Our stay was complicated by being unable to use the front door, and having to keep our large dog on a lead due to two low sections of fence. These issues can hopefully be rectified for future guests.
J
The cottage itself is a little tired, but has ample space for a family very close to a stunning beach, we had a lovely time .
Lorna
Fabulous location and comfortable cottage which was great for our family and 2 dogs. Beach just a small walk away with a good sized enclosed garden for the dogs - I have a Lurcher and big enough for zoomies ! Well equipped kitchen. Couldnâ??t use the gate from garden to sand dunes as was too overgrown with nettles etc but wasnâ??t a problem as a path close by that did the job. Am sad to be home as we had a great time and fabulous weather.
Julie
A beautiful cottage in a perfect location. It's perfect for a peaceful beach stay. The cottage would benefit from some TLC & updating, although it didn't deter us from enjoying our stay. A word of warning - the hot water is hotter than the surface of the sun so becareful.
Julie
Good spacious property, bit tired looking in parts particularly main bathroom. Ideal.location for beach etc.Outdoor space good.
Hazel
Fabulous cottage for a family holiday. Plenty of space and large garden with access to the dunes. Very quiet but central location. The dog and grandchildren loved it.
Christopher
