About Rose Cottage

Drive into the pretty coastal village of St Dogmaels and spot your end-terrace holiday cottage with its delightful front garden where you can sit awhile with a cup of tea and watch the world slowly go by or chat to the friendly locals. Stepping into the glorious open plan living area you will be charmingly surprised at the space and high standard in front of you. The cosy sitting area, the large dining table and the superbly-equipped kitchen all lends itself to being the hub of your holiday home, where great times will be spent together catching up and planning days out after family meals. If you are looking for some quiet time, the wonderful bedrooms offer exquisite surroundings with comfortable beds, beautiful furnishings and the lovingly thought of extra touches will add to your delight in your room. With one en-suite, a 4-piece family bathroom and a cloakroom, a boot room/utility room with a separate sink as well as a most useful outside shower, the facilities are perfect for the larger family holiday. Set right next to a pathway access, within 50 yards of the world-famous coast path and a well-equipped children’s park, you can stroll directly from the cottage to play with the younger ones in your group or soak up scenic views and maybe walk to the sandy Poppit Sands beach. In the village you can see a working mill and enjoy locally made foods, visit the local produce market or venture a mile to Cardigan where its magnificent castle has been restored to its former glory, a shopping trip will be a treat with small unique shops, an antiques market and much more. Book a boat trip to spot dolphins or visit Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort or the Welsh Wildlife Centre. Whatever you do on your days out, you will be only too pleased to return to Rose Cottage, wash off any sand and gather round the table for a meal before sitting down to relax together.
